no other reason made sense to yekaterina ahahah, but i guess this is what they mean by speaking the truth into existence??

oh, yes, of course leonid, the person who intended to use her to further his agenda of helping his cousin by planning to get her to attack him during the hunting trip, and framing her family, is a normal and kind person. leonid is not 'normal', and even though he is just attacking the people that see him as an enemy, if you read further into the story, you can tell there is a part of him that's broken too.

kind people with no agenda don't use people who come to them seeking death and try to use them to their advantage.

up to this point, i've already completed the story, so... we'll see we'll see.

yeah, it seems like a long journey, that'll hopefully continue to have more comedy! yeah, leonid is kind and yekaterina would likely not recognise the emotion called love, i agree! but my hope is that leonid falls in love first and recognises it first, so then i can see some unrequited love angst from leonid teehee
