Chapter 14 🔞
#2
「Ah…!」
A heated cry echoed in Aaron’s ears.
As he slowly pressed his hardened length into the tight passage of a woman who had never before known a man, her warm inner walls clung firmly around him.
She was so impossibly tight that he couldn’t enter her all at once.
He patiently rocked his hips, easing in and out little by little as her body gradually learned to accept him. The wet sounds between them grew louder with each gentle movement.
Grasping her trembling thighs, he finally thrust his hips forward with determination.
The resistance that had stubbornly held him back until then finally gave way as he entered her completely.
「Aaah!」
Her cry, almost like a sob, rang out as he began to move.
Completely captivated by the sensation of her hot, soaked, and impossibly tight embrace, he lost himself, instinctively driving his hips against hers.
The lewd, wet sounds of their bodies joining wrapped around him like a melody, intoxicating him until he felt like a boy experiencing a woman’s embrace for the very first time.
The way her inner walls trembled and tightened around him was exquisitely pleasurable.
The sensation of moving through that narrow passage was nothing short of intoxicating.
As he gripped her slender waist and drove into her with reckless abandon, her breathless cries, the heat tangled in those sounds, and her scent all melted into his ears and filled his lungs.
A faint fragrance of wildflowers.
‘Wildflowers?’
“Hah!”
Aaron jolted awake. He shot upright, one hand braced against the sweat-soaked sheets. As expected, no one lay beside him.
It had only been a dream.
And yet it had felt so vivid. Then again, even while awake during the day, those fragments of memory had returned with startling clarity.
“But that scent…”
The fragrance of wildflowers felt strangely familiar. Where had he smelled it before?
“Ah, Lady Daisy.”
Of course. It was the scent that lingered around her.
Perhaps, after spending the entire day with her, from morning until sunset, breathing in that fragrance, his mind had woven it into his dream.
“Well, this is…”
He wasn’t sure whether to call it embarrassing or simply absurd.
Then, all at once, another thought occurred to him. The woman he was searching for and Daisy shared the same faded blonde hair.
“I’m overthinking this…”
His thoughts had wandered in a completely absurd direction. The Grand Archmage Daisy Freyon couldn’t possibly be her. There was no way. Absolutely, absolutely no way.
Why would a Grand Archmage have any reason to spend a single night with him and then run away? More importantly, if Daisy really were that woman, she would never have spent the entire day helping him search for her. This was truly nothing more than an absurd fantasy.
“But…”
She probably wasn’t.
But if she were, he wouldn’t mind. No, he would actually like it if she were. The thought suddenly crossed his mind that it would be better if Daisy were that woman instead. But saying something like that might give her the wrong idea.
“……”
Aaron turned his gaze toward the window. Far away, the royal palace loomed faintly in the darkness. At the highest tower of the palace was Daisy.
Had she gone to sleep by now, or was she still absorbed in her magical research? After spending the entire day helping him, was she making up for the lost time by studying through the night?
Come to think of it, he hadn’t even properly thanked her. He should have at least given her a gift in return, but the thought hadn’t occurred to him at the time.
“A gift… What would be a good one…?”
He racked his brain, trying to think of something that would suit her, but nothing came to mind. Then, all at once, Aaron thought of the shoes.
The shoes she had created for him with magic. But instead of a pair of magically conjured shoes, what if he gave her a real pair?
Perhaps it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to give her a pair of shoes along with a frilled skirt that reached just below the knees, and tell her to wear them to the next Harvest Eve Festival.
Then who would she give her flower to? Would she dance with the man she gave it to? Would he kiss her? How would she kiss him? Would she close her eyes when they kissed?
“I’m losing my mind…”
Aaron buried his face in both hands. As much as he hated to admit it, he wasn’t in his right mind. Otherwise, there was no way he’d be jealous of a man whose face he’d never even seen. And yet, he unmistakably was.
He was jealous of the boy who had danced with her at the Harvest Eve Festival years ago. Jealous of the man who would dance with her at future festivals. Jealous of every man who would kiss her from this day forward.
And he found himself wishing she would never take off that hood in front of anyone else. That he alone would be the only person who knew the face hidden beneath it.
What a petty, narrow-minded thought.
What was this feeling? Where had these emotions come from? This small, ugly jealousy.
