Chapter 81 🔞
Kiara squinted at him. It was a thought she’d come up with after some consideration, but Ael didn’t care at all.
No matter how much she narrowed her eyes, it was no use. Still, perhaps feeling a bit sorry for leaving her sulking like that, Ael added as if it was only natural:
“We didn’t do it yesterday either. So you have to listen to me this time.”
“There’s no such rule. Stop it…”
Kiara, fuming, tried to push Ael away with her whole body but stopped halfway. Something pressing against her thigh felt weird. It was hot and hard, a fleshy presence.
Good heavens, what was that?
Kiara’s eyes went wide. It was a completely different kind of presence than anything she had experienced before. It was hard to believe that what was touching her leg now was the same thing she had put in her mouth and sucked on.
‘…Did I not realize it before because it was dark?’
Kiara shook her head.
Come to think of it, every time she had been with Ael, their surroundings had always been dim. It didn’t matter whether it was day or night, because the lunar eclipse snuffed out the light regardless. Normally, people find it hard to think rationally in the dark. That’s why ghosts tend to appear only at night.
But if that were the case, shouldn’t it have felt even more intense in the dark?
‘Are you sure we really didn’t do it yesterday…?’
Could that be possible? While Kiara was distracted by her random thoughts, Ael’s hand quickly moved toward her lower body.
“Hngh.”
Startled, Kiara wriggled her hips. Without a moment’s hesitation, his hand moved swiftly over her clxtoris.
“If you don’t like it, that’s fine.”
Lying on his side facing Kiara, he gently parted her entrance with his fingertips as he added the words:
“I’ll just make you like it.”
Though his tone was flat, there was an unmistakable air of triumph in his words, like Kiara’s wanting was inevitable.
Well, he wasn’t wrong. Every time his persistent touch left the sheets soaked, Kiara would end up begging first.
And sure enough—
“Mmm.”
Kiara tensed her thighs. It wasn’t like he did anything extraordinary. Just the slightest flick of Ael’s finger made her hips tremble spasmodically.
With a satisfied look, as if things were going exactly as expected, Ael smiled. He was naturally skilled with his body. Well, that side of things came naturally to both of them, didn’t it?
But even if it didn’t, it didn’t matter. His mind wasn’t bad either, especially his memory. He remembered what she liked, what she responded to.
“You liked being licked more than being touched, didn’t you?”
His lips curled into a sly smile as his head lowered. When Ael disappeared beneath the sheets they’d been sharing, Kiara, sensing what was about to happen, hurriedly sat up.
It wasn’t that she hated being with him again. But she was afraid of the intense pleasure that always overwhelmed her.
It was as if she wasn’t herself, and there was no way she could ever get used to that sensation.
In the end, Kiara blurted out instinctively.
“A–ah, hey…!”
Kiara breathed a sigh of relief as the jostling of the sheets ceased, then her expression hardened again.
Come to think of it — “child[1]
.”
The word had slipped out in the heat of the moment, but now that she’d said it aloud, anxiety began to creep in. It was something she hadn’t considered at all until now.
Of course, back when she was still preparing for marriage, she had been a little worried.
But at the time, her plan had been simple: spend one night with the king, break the curse, and leave Altnebra immediately. The wedding day had been carefully chosen to fall on a relatively safe day in her cycle.
The problem was, things hadn’t gone as expected, and her partner had changed. Everything had been so chaotic she hadn’t had time to think.
If she needed an excuse, then yes, it was the eclipse’s fault. The darkness dulled reason, after all.
‘But how many days has it even been since then?’
Kiara quickly did the math and her face turned pale.
No matter how Ael tried to approach her now, she would have to say no.
Well, not that the previous times were entirely safe either, but today felt especially dangerous.
“…What child?”
Just then, Ael emerged from beneath the sheets, frowning deeply.
¹Kiara originally says “아이” which phonetically reads as /aɪ/ and can be used both as an interjection (“Aye!”) or a word that means “child.”↩
