Chapter 90
Her innocent, vacant face loosened obscenely as she rolled her hips in rhythm with Bjorn’s thrusts. Watching in real time as his wife was corrupted by him, Bjorn felt his own reason burn white as well.
Eyes unfocused, he leaned his upper body closer as if to gain momentum. The large hand gripping her waist moved upward and seized her endlessly shaking b*****s.
Both n*****s, crushed between his fingers, were toyed with at once. She overlapped her hand over her husband’s thick hand from the excessive stimulation, but nothing lessened.
“Ah, mmngh, ahh, ah!”
“Leila, this is, too, ngh…”
The two, overlapped like a pair of spoons, soon reached climax together while sweetly listening to each other’s moans.
From the intense act that began early morning, sudden fatigue and self-reproach drifted into Leila’s heart like dark clouds.
“I think we need to set rules… like in the temple.”
Leila muttered, limbs limp, draped over Bjorn’s body as he leaned against the wall.
Though she allowed anything to Bjorn, she placed only one restriction on this matter.
“It interferes with daily life. This feels a bit excessive…”
Of course, each time Bjorn felt deeply sorry and reflected.
“But didn’t I promise to prove myself?”
She knew his resolve. Though when he first spoke of proving himself, she never imagined it would be like this.
Chu, smooch. With no sign of reflection, Bjorn kissed her cheek and neck, and it took quite a while before she finally sent him off to work.
Bjorn, clean without any trace of their intimacy as if nothing had happened, left the bookstore looking regretful. Watching his tall, neat back, Leila secretly thought the paladin uniform suited him best.
Even before marriage, but especially after, Bjorn worked constantly to maintain a fine appearance and cleanliness as if carrying a mission to never be disheveled.
When Leila asked why, he gave an incomprehensible answer.
‘You deserve to hold a trophy, Leila. And a trophy must shine brilliantly to have value.’
Though still puzzling, one thing was certain. Bjorn Schmidt was the most brilliantly shining thing she ever owned.
Perhaps sensing her distraction, Bjorn, already walking far away, turned back and waved.
With only a faint smile on his lips, he had already perfectly returned to the image of a pure and chaste paladin.
Of course she did not feel disappointed. When their private time returned, that face would change back into that of a lecher.
Leila, who knew everything about Bjorn the paladin, was now slowly learning about Bjorn the husband.
* * *
Though they had gone through many twists, Leila and Bjorn were happy as a married couple.
Bjorn decided to continue as a paladin for various reasons, yet at some point his dream became working at the bookstore as Leila’s assistant.
Meanwhile Leila’s dream already seemed fulfilled. The man she loved for a lifetime was now her husband, and she had succeeded in becoming completely independent from her parents. She could read as many books as she liked, and the bookstore was running steadily.
If she had any greed, perhaps it was only to expand the business a little more.
And her wish came true in an unexpected way.
“If you buy a book at Miss Bailey’s bookstore, your love will come true.”
Her bookstore suddenly became a famous spot.
The sight of a drop dead gorgeous paladin bringing flowers home every day drew attention and created absurd rumors.
Of course the fact that the protagonist of those rumors, Leila’s unrequited love, had finally come true only fueled them further.
People suffering from love regardless of status or gender flocked in, and the bookstore became unexpectedly crowded.
In the end, Leila and Bjorn proved a small but perfect truth through their story.
The finest way to end a one-sided love is to make that love come true.
