At the Rights Protection Committee Counseling Room of the Guide Center—
“Ahem, so… Rose. Rose Valentine, right?”
The counselor spoke with an awkward expression. I vigorously nodded my head.
“…Umm, so, it’s a bit complicated.”
“I’m here to report threats and violence happening at the center. Please save the pitiful and fragile victim who’s being manipulated by the heinous perpetrator. It’s all up to you, Counselor!”
The counselor didn’t seem too thrilled.
The counselor must have eyes and ears, so they must have heard the rumors about the center’s hot topics. I didn’t want to get involved for no reason and become a victim.
But I had no idea about the counselor’s difficulties.
“Hmm… So, who’s the victim…”
“The victim is right here!”
I replied as if I had been waiting. The counselor let out a deep sigh, as if they had expected that.
I continued without hesitation.
“For the past few weeks! Every single day! I’ve endured harsh persecution and torment! I’ve been ignored and belittled! My self-esteem has hit rock bottom!”
“Well…”
“And recently, they’ve even resorted to threats! I’m so upset that I can’t even come to the center. Please impose severe punishment on the perpetrator. I want to see that arrogant face utterly crushed…!”
“I don’t have the authority to impose punishment, Miss Valentine.”
The counselor cut me off as if they were fed up with my words.
“However, once a report of harm comes in, we follow the protocol and accept the report. Separation and protection measures against the perpetrator will be taken after the report is accepted. Then, if the perpetrator’s wrongdoing is proven in court, the punishment you desire may also be possible.”
“Yes, please proceed with the report.”
A restraining order against the perpetrator. Thinking about the trouble I went through in the past few weeks to avoid that guy, having this would be such a relief.
The counselor let out another sigh at my firm request.
“Alright, if you could please provide the name of the perpetrator, we will accept the report.”
“Do I really need to say it? There are people here at the center who don’t even know how much he’s been tormenting me all this time?”
“Haaa, well, it’s still part of the procedure, the procedure. We must follow the rules.”
The counselor seemed eager to follow the procedure and take a break.
Fine, if I stall for time, I’ll be the only one in danger.
I was about to say that guy’s name as the counselor wanted.
No, I tried to say it.
“That guy’s name is…!”
“So you’ve been playing around here, Rose.”
My heart stopped at the familiar and sweet deep voice. My body stiffened completely.
Even without turning around, I could feel a massive presence behind me.
A hand suddenly appeared from behind and gently grasped my shoulder.
Long fingers slid down my neck like a snake.
If that large hand applied a bit more pressure, my neck might snap right off.
“I’ve been looking for you for a while, Rose.”
“…”
“I was worried when you disappeared so suddenly in front of me. My Rose… Has this cute head of yours gone awry and forgotten your promise with me?”
The grip on my neck tightened.
W-Was he going to break it?
I involuntarily shrank into myself.
Fortunately, instead of snapping my neck, his hand gently massaged my throat as if giving it a firm squeeze.
The man behind me lowered his body. His lips drew close to my ear.
He whispered softly into my ear.
What did he whisper?
Well.
“…If you do something pointless, you know the consequence will be imprinting, right?”
Flinch.
A shiver ran down my spine. I could feel the man’s emotions clearly behind me.
This man was seriously angry!
“That’s not it…”
“Should I do XX and XX right now?”
“No, no…!”
“I was trying to hold back, but you don’t need to anymore, right, Rose? So, should I do XX and XX and make you XX? Hm? Answer me, Rose.”
“It’s not like that…”
“Let’s XX and XXX instead. Start with XX and then XXXX…”

He whispered lewd suggestions into my ear with a low, sweet voice that seemed like he was professing his love to me.
Meanwhile, his spider-like long fingers continued to caress my neck discreetly.
My face alternated between turning red as a tomato and pale blue, overwhelmed by the explicit touches and whispers.
