In an instant, Claude’s expression became absolutely terrifying.

Rubbing my eyes, I soon focused. She wasn’t an angel, but Irene was as beautiful as one.
“When did you come back? Where have you been all this time?”
“Sob, Irene…”
Hearing her caring words made me feel so moved that tears burst out. Feeling sorrowful, I crawled into Irene’s arms and sobbed.
You know, Irene, I almost died a few times in the past few days, facing danger from that evil villain…
“…Ugh, why are you being so gross!”
With a swift motion, Irene pushed me away as if swatting away a filthy bug.
Yeah, I got carried away with emotions and forgot.
We’re not actually that close.
