So I decided to try and escape to the attached bathroom.

Claude sounded almost irritated now.
“And if you’ve left the house without a word and come back, you need to do what you have to do.”

I was momentarily confused. What am I supposed to do after leaving and coming back?
After racking my brain for a moment, I suddenly had a guess. So I quickly reached out my arms.

I gave him a light kiss and looked up at him sulkily. His expression turned somewhat odd.

So he didn’t mean ‘If you leave the house without a word, do what you have to do’ but rather to explain myself and promise not to leave again.

There was no point in being stubborn if I wasn’t going to win. I decided to give up and apologize.

Wash up together? I thought for a moment before coming to a conclusion.

So I wrapped my arms around his neck and let him hold me. Claude, now chuckling softly, looked at me. When I was angry and attacking him, now I was clinging to him like this.
What? Isn’t this how couples are supposed to be? They fight, but then they make up and even wash up together?
I looked at him boldly, and he sighed again before heading to the bathroom.
