This work contains scenes of sadistic coercion and hardcore depictions of BDSM. Reader discretion is advised.

The ominous Raksha, which had been raging with a cursed energy, dispersed.

Rather than expressing his anger, Yasamin prioritized checking on her.

That he looked at her first, before his own pride or emotions.

Siren was truly grateful for that…

‘If, one day, he stops doing this… that will be the end, won’t it?’

Even in happiness, she had become accustomed to dwelling on misfortune. Worrying alone about a future that hadn’t even arrived yet—because she was afraid. Because she was weak.

Perhaps that was why she could only think about how to protect herself.

“Come on, now. Everyone’s too worked up. Let’s all calm down.”

…Someone as remarkable as Bispar wouldn’t be thinking about running away first, unlike her.

As the tension eased slightly, Bispar, who had been observing, finally stepped forward.

“Regardless of what you may think, speaking so rudely to someone else’s Diet was your mistake. Apologize.”

With Bispar’s intervention, Siren was able to receive an apology from the Kalik clan.

It wasn’t particularly sincere, but that didn’t matter.

She knew that what was important here was a proper resolution.

“And as for the princess’s knee—there’s no way the high priest himself would stoop to such a petty act… Whoever did it, it was very wrong.”

Tall and striking in appearance, Bispar commanded attention with just a few words.

“If something like this happens again, you’ll have to deal with me. Because I’ve decided to be the princess’s friend.”

Brushing his short hair back, Bispar issued his warning. Though spoken with a grin, his words carried undeniable weight.

The Raksha surrounding him also swirled with an ominous energy.

“Well then, I suppose it’s time to celebrate. The king has finally settled down, after all. I never imagined he would form a Diet with someone.”

“Weren’t you the one who said that when a person is dear and precious, they have no choice but to keep them close?”

Now that his close friend Bispar had stepped in, Yasamin’s energy softened as well.

“Oh? So, do you finally understand what I meant?”

“Who knows.”

“Hah. You’re saying ‘who knows’—that’s practically an admission.”

As Yasamin and Bispar exchanged their easy banter, the suffocating pressure in the air gradually faded, until the atmosphere had nearly returned to normal.

With his arm draped over Yasamin’s shoulder, Bispar glanced at Siren and gave her a quick thumbs-up.

As if complimenting her for her fake coughing.

Feeling awkward, she let out a stiff laugh.

“Well then, let’s enjoy the celebration tonight! We’ve received an abundant supply of food from Wilkeron, so let’s drown ourselves in wine!”

At Bispar’s spirited declaration, the Kalik clan stomped their feet in agreement.

The Aquafuran clan, on the other hand, looked at them with pure disdain—but when they turned to Siren, their expressions were completely different.

“Goddess, are you alright? We saw you coughing earlier….”

“How is your body? Do you feel any discomfort?”

“We should have been more careful with the white sand. We’re sorry. We should have known better than to trust the Nu clan!”

“The king had forbidden us from approaching, but now that the ceremony is complete, you are officially a person of the South. You can move about freely. We will serve you.”

Though overwhelmed, Siren took the time to respond to each of them. All the while, she organized her thoughts.

‘Whether or not they are truly trustworthy is another matter… but for now, they are standing on my side.’

First, those she met at the Saam estate: Yasamin, Jin, and Pamilla.

Second, those from Wilkeron: Maria, Tilly, and Larisa Orm.

Third, those from the South: Eltan, Chris, Bispar, and the kitchen staff. The Aquafuran clan.

In truth, the maids from Wilkeron and the lady-in-waiting, Larisa, could betray her.

But the reason she believed they wouldn’t was simple.

‘Without me, they have no way to return to Wilkeron.’

Their goals aligned, so they were on the same side.

All three were skilled with their hands and had pleasant personalities, making it enjoyable to live alongside them.

‘Conversely, those I must never trust and who could harm me at any moment.’

First, Nicoletta Brienne and Daphne Carmore.

Second, High Priest Hies and the Nu clan.

Third, the majority of the Kalik clan.

“Rest for tonight. Tomorrow, we will hold a meeting first thing in the morning.”

Yasamin quietly declared to everyone.

“It’s time to discuss how we will divide Wilkeron.”

At that moment, Siren saw it—the glint in the eyes of every Kalik clansman, including Bispar.

This was likely the moment they had long been waiting for.

She didn’t know how the division would unfold, but she made a small decision.

As the last survivor of Wilkeron, she should at least secure a piece of land for herself.
