Eun-seok shamelessly laid out his secret wish. Thanks to the darkness that half-covered his face. If it had been broad daylight, he would have hurriedly apologized and returned to the path.

Sang-hee’s gaze, which had seemed like it might pierce through his face, suddenly dropped to his crotch. Eun-seok flinched and instinctively covered himself with his hand.

“Why? What?”

“Wondering if it’s up again.”

At Sang-hee’s blunt retort, heat shot up above Eun-seok’s neck. They had been drinking coffee, not alcohol, just moments ago. Yet seeing how nonchalant her voice sounded, it seemed Sang-hee was also borrowing the power of the dark night.

The problem was that right after her guess, the blood really did start rushing below his waist. If this continued, the shape would become visible even through the thick fabric of his jeans.

Eun-seok led Sang-hee briskly between the pine trees. Every step he took carried a sense of urgency. His destination was a pavilion at the edge of the park.

It was a space with a roof that residents likely used as shade during the day. But on a secluded night like this, it could serve as a hidden hideout, avoiding the streetlights.

Eun-seok let go of Sang-hee’s hand. Instead, he wrapped his arm around her slender waist and pressed her tightly against his side. He could clearly feel Sang-hee’s body stiffen.

“What are you doing?”

This time, it was Sang-hee’s turn to be flustered. Their faces were so close they almost touched, so he could clearly see her unfocused eyes shifting behind her glasses.

“By now, this much should be okay, right?”

Eun-seok blinked and pretended to be innocent. It was a ridiculous act. But it was dark out, there was no one around, and Sang-hee had already noticed his desires—he didn’t want to let this time slip away meaninglessly.

“What do you mean by ‘this much’?”

“Then how about this?”

Eun-seok rested his chin on Sang-hee’s shoulder. If he wasn’t careful about the angle, the tip of his nose might brush against her. Sang-hee, perhaps aware of this too, stared straight ahead and took a sharp breath.

“Move away. It’s hot.”

But despite her words, Sang-hee didn’t twist her waist to escape. She just sat obediently, showing only her reddening ears.

“Is this much okay too?”

Eun-seok brought his face closer and buried his nose behind Sang-hee’s ear. Her shoulder flinched as if ticklish. His lips hovered perilously close, as if about to take her earlobe.

He stayed like that for a moment. It was quiet enough that the rapid beat of the pulse near her ear was transmitted to him. Occasionally, only the sound of car engines from the road on the opposite side of the park would drift over.

Sang-hee let out a thin breath that she had been holding. He could sense it all—her shoulders rising and falling weakly, her earlobes growing warmer, her skin becoming damp from his breath.

Somewhere, the gentle scent of acacia flowers drifted into his nose. Since there were only pine trees nearby, this must be a memory from another time was an illusion. Even if an acacia tree were right in front of them, the flowers would have long since wilted in the heat, so there’s no way they would still have a scent.

But Eun-seok breathed in deeply several times. Each time, Sang-hee’s hair moved with it. He thought he might know the source of this unexpected scent.

Sang-hee, who had been staring straight ahead until then, turned her head toward Eun-seok. His lips brushing across the delicate skin between her earlobe and neck wasn’t intentional.

Although Sang-hee shrank back, she looked directly at Eun-seok. Even without the white light of the streetlamp, her cheeks were flushed a tempting shade.

Her long lashes behind her gold-rimmed glasses lowered. In that moment, Eun-seok understood that Sang-hee had answered his question.

That it was okay to do even more than “this much.”

So he tilted his head and leaned in. His eyes closed, and his moist lips met hers without a sound.

Eun-seok bit and sucked on Sang-hee’s lower lip. As he pulled on the soft flesh as if to crush it, Sang-hee urgently clutched at his clothes.

Her soles had been soft, and now her lips were as tender and plush as a marshmallow. He was afraid that if he pressed them between his teeth, they might bleed. But still, he couldn’t suppress his desire to nibble.

He released her lower lip and took the upper one into his mouth. The smooth mucous membrane on the inside of her lips rubbed against his. Overwhelmed by a sensation he had never experienced in his life, white light flashed behind his eyelids.

Eun-seok’s mouth opened wide. Moist saliva wet Sang-hee’s skin from her philtrum down to her chin.
