Chapter 33
It felt like God might strike him down with lightning at any moment. But what could he do? Even if lightning did fall from the heavens, Aaron was certain he wouldn’t be able to pull out.
At last, he understood the hearts of his former comrades who left the knighthood to get married. They had been sad to be cast out and judged, but they never regretted their decision.
Losing all the honor they had built up—how could they not regret it?
Confused, Aaron had once asked them why, and they all said the same thing:
“Once you know, you can never go back.”
Back then, he had been disappointed in them, thinking they were weak-willed. But now, things were different.
He couldn’t think of any reason to remain a paladin if it meant giving this up.
Even his grandfather had been forced to marry after his younger brother, the family heir, passed away. If Aaron was to carry on his grandfather’s legacy, it only made sense for him to give up his knighthood and marry as well.
And his future bride…
Aaron’s eyes drifted to Nancy, whose face was flushed and who was panting beneath him. He couldn’t quite imagine what married life with her would be like.
But he had a feeling it wouldn’t be bad. Even if she angered him, he suspected that one night in bed would be enough to forgive her for anything.
Unaware that he had fallen under the effects of the [ Seduction ] skill, Aaron’s instincts were already predicting his future with surprising accuracy.
The thought of marriage made him see Nancy in a new light—not just as someone sensual but also as a bit cute.
Still moving rhythmically inside her, Aaron studied her closely, trying to figure out what exactly was so cute about her.
“Hnnngh, ahh…”
Tears were welling up in her eyes, about to spill over. She stared up at the ceiling, seemingly trying to hold back her tears.
“Your eyelashes are short.”
Aaron noticed that her eyelashes were much shorter than his own. Nancy, who had been staring at the ceiling, turned her gaze toward him, glaring. She tried to give him a sharp look, but it wasn’t intimidating at all.
“That’s not a very commanding look for a hero,” Aaron said, intending to keep the thought to himself, but the words slipped out.
Nancy’s eyes widened.
“Are you looking down on me because I’m pinned beneath you?!”
She growled, her voice filled with frustration. Aaron, startled by her reaction, quickly averted his gaze, then leaned down and kissed her cheek to smooth things over.
The sound of his kisses was light at first, but soon, he found himself wanting more. Letting go of her hands, he cupped her face, but Nancy, still sulking, kept moving her lips away to avoid kissing him.
“Why are you making such a pitiful attempt to resist?”
Smirking, Aaron pressed his lips against hers, now familiar with slipping his tongue between her lips and dominating the kiss.
But suddenly, he had to pull back with a grunt. Nancy had bitten his lip hard, and the taste of blood filled his mouth.
Aaron wondered if finding her cute a moment ago had been a mistake. Her smug grin after biting him reminded him of a cat, scratching someone’s face and then looking down at them with arrogant eyes.
“…Nancy.”
He lowered his voice in a threatening tone, and Nancy flinched. She tucked her lips inward, as if afraid he might bite her in return.
Aaron couldn’t help but let out a small, incredulous laugh.
Would biting her back really count as revenge?
Pulling his hips back, Aaron then slammed them forward again. Nancy gasped, her pupils dilating from the shock. Before she could say anything, he thrust into her hard once more.
“You started this, so I won’t hold back anymore.”
Realizing she had made a grave mistake, Aaron began moving rapidly, thrusting into her without pause.
“Wait! I’m sorry, I was wrong… Aaron, ah, ahh!”
Nancy frantically apologized, but Aaron paid no attention to her words. He thrust with such force that each movement sent a jolt all the way up to her head. Just as she had been getting used to his size, her entire body convulsed under the overwhelming sensation.
“I’m… I’m going to… ahh!”
Even though she was on the verge of climax, Aaron didn’t stop. His strength overpowered the contractions of her inner walls, making her body shake uncontrollably.
Her already sensitive body was being relentlessly pounded, driving her closer to madness. She clenched her teeth, trying to keep herself from completely losing it, but her mind grew fuzzier with each passing second.
Just when her eyes began rolling back, Aaron paused for a moment.
Saved from the brink of insanity, Nancy assumed he had finally come to his senses and stopped. She relaxed for a brief moment.
But Aaron simply shifted her body, turning her onto her side and grabbing one of her legs before resuming his thrusts.
He had only been changing positions. Finding this new angle more comfortable, Aaron picked up the pace once again.
“Ahh, ahhh… something feels… weird! I… I’m going to…!”
