Kendrick bowed his head in self-reproach.
‘From now on, whatever Maya sets out to do, I must support her.’

Beside them, with a thud, the body of the white snake fell, large enough to nearly break down part of the castle wall.

Considering how high the wyvern had to fly to prevent the body from dragging on the way, it was truly remarkable.
Sensing the praise, the wyvern gasped for breath and shrugged its shoulders.

Hearing the noise, Alec and the knights ran over and were speechless at the sight of Maya, Tristan, and Kendrick.

Turning to Kendrick, Tristan pointed to the white snake’s corpse that had been carried on the wyvern’s back.
“Kendrick, I’d like you to take care of this monster.”

“Because it’s Maya Pendragon’s first monster hunt in the north, and I think you’d handle it best.”
Tristan had perfectly assessed Kendrick in their brief conversation.
He knew that mentioning Maya’s name would make Kendrick as docile as a lamb.
