Chapter 118
“Why are you making such a fuss?”
Rubel’s voice carried genuine confusion, as if he truly couldn’t understand what the problem was.
Eir’s face burned with shame, and she ducked her head low. It wasn’t just his words—everything was mortifying. The emptiness between her legs, the fact that their bodies had just been connected and now separated—it was unbearable.
She had thought that once they slept together, this humiliation would fade, but strangely, it only grew worse.
Then, he gently turned her shoulders to face him.
Having spent the whole time staring at her back, imagining her expression, he now smiled with satisfaction, as if a deep thirst had finally been quenched.
“I missed seeing your face.”
“…….”
Eir blinked in bewilderment. Why is he suddenly smiling like this? They had been together the whole time—what did he mean, he missed her? Did he miss her just because she had been facing away?
Before she could voice her confusion, he leaned in and kissed her without a word.
It was a slow, tender kiss, as if savoring the taste of cream. The kind of kiss that made it clear he couldn’t hold back—the kind that made her feel like he wanted to devour her whole. Eir, still unaccustomed to such overflowing affection, could only part her lips slightly in response. Then, he suddenly nipped at her lower lip and asked.
“By the way, what’s the deal with that black rabbit?”
“Huh?”
Eir’s voice came out dumbfounded, unable to hide the fact that he had struck a nerve. Rubel chewed lightly on her lips before pulling away and burying his face in her neck.
Even her sweat was endearing—proof of how hard she had worked. Unable to resist, he bit down on the nape of her neck, leaving marks as if branding her. The sound of her ragged breath and the wet suction of his mouth made her ears burn hotter.
Watching her reaction, he thought now was the perfect time to bring this up.
If he had mentioned it when she was in a bad mood, she would’ve just gotten more irritated.
“That black rabbit was pacing near the cliff, wasn’t it? Fidgeting nervously until I caught you—then it ran away. Was that the ‘friend’ who promised to help you?”
“Ah… that was…….”
Eir opened her mouth to explain, but only silence spilled out. No coherent words came.
Rubel, as if expecting this, didn’t press further and instead continued.
“Witches can’t cast spells just by sending an avatar. They have to be there in person. Did you meet that witch behind my back?”
Even as he interrogated her, his lips traced the curve of her b*****s, descending lower. Eir trembled, overwhelmed by the sheer confusion of the situation. His hands had already stripped away the last of her modesty—the cloth that had barely covered her chest.
The lingering aftershocks of pleasure made her n*****s heavy and sensitive even before he removed the covering. Now, exposed to the cool air, her entire body felt hypersensitive.
“That’s not it…….”
“So you didn’t meet?”
“Mmm…….”
Rather than hesitating to answer, she simply wanted his hands on her—to soothe the tight, aching swell of her chest. She had already been worn out from taking him inside her, her body completely drained.
Just moments ago, she had sworn to herself that she would never sleep with him again. But now, like an animal ruled by pleasure, her back arched in anticipation.
Her stiffened n*****s strained toward him. He cupped her b*****s, kneading their weight with obvious enjoyment.
Every touch was saturated with tender affection.
Just as he was about to take a n****e into his mouth, he paused, meeting her eyes briefly as if issuing a warning.
“It’s better if you’re honest with me, Eir. I’m trying to find a way for us to stay together.”
Before she could even process the way he had just sweetly said her name—enough to melt her ears—he parted his lips and took her b****t into his mouth.
“Ah!”
