To Nox, her words reached him in fragments. His whole body was burning up, and he couldn’t fully hear what she was saying.
How could she say she was going to leave him behind?
If she had given this much affection, wasn’t she supposed to take responsibility until the end?
He had already tasted love. He had admitted to himself that his life until now had been unbearably lonely.
Just imagining Sia disappearing from his side made it impossible for Nox to breathe.
“Huh? Lips, what’s wrong?”
As Lips began to stiffen, Sia, startled, sat upright. Seeing him breathing roughly, her face drained of color in panic.
Nox, who had long regretted the lies he told just to stay beside her in his animal form, didn’t feel the slightest bit sorry in this moment.
No. He even felt relieved that he had kept it hidden.
There was no way he could let Sia go like this.
His gold and blue eyes glinted viciously.
“Lips!”
Feeling Lips’s body heat up like fire, Sia pulled him into her arms and tried to get off the bed.
But Nox was faster. He slipped from her arms and began to release his transformation.
At the grotesque sight of his shifting form, Sia reflexively fell to the floor. The cat she had thought was Lips had turned into Nox.
To be exact, it was his werebeast form with cat ears and a tail.
Sia stared blankly at the figure before her, both unfamiliar and familiar, and quickly began to retrace what had just happened in her head.
Including everything she had done while thinking he was Lips.
Feeding him. Patting his rear. Just now, she had even bathed with him. And when she’d washed him… not just his private parts, but even his rear end, she had scrubbed thoroughly with her hands.

Sia couldn’t tell if the man before her was really Nox. The face was unmistakably his, but judging by his usual kindness, this couldn’t be happening.
The cat ears on his head were foreign to her. His twitching tail, like a cat just before a hunt, was unfamiliar as well.
The confidence she had that she knew Nox seemed to wither away.
Now naked, Sia tried to cover her most important parts, but his burning-hot hands grabbed both her wrists and held them together.
“L-Lord Nox…”
“Haa…”
Nox felt like he was engulfed in flames.
From his hands to his feet, there wasn’t a single part of his body that wasn’t burning. All his blood vessels pulsed with heat, his heart pounded so hard it felt like it would burst through his chest.
His attention was focused solely on the Sia before him.
Her flushed face full of confusion, the pale skin fresh from the bath, the black hair that was the same as his, scattered across the white bedding… She looked breathtaking.
Her tear-glossed eyes were all the more enchanting. The round pupils set inside her dark irises were irresistibly cute.
Her lips, small yet full and red like strawberries, always puckered adorably whenever she ate.
Feeling the urge to slide his tongue between those tiny lips, Nox could no longer hold himself back.
He would not act like a gentleman anymore.
Even if she resented him afterward, he’d hear it only after keeping her at his side.
Holding Sia’s wrists above her head, Nox slowly leaned down. He opened his mouth for the first time, and his low voice echoed through the bedroom with an eerie weight, completely unlike his usual tone.
“From now on… I will have you.”
The moment the words left his mouth, he swallowed Sia’s lips.
