The sudden intrusion was as savage as its form. The heated pillar that claimed her completely left Sia unable to breathe. Trembling all over, she lay beneath Nox, who quietly looked down at her.
In truth, his mind was dyed red, incapable of thought. Only instinct remained, urging him to move without restraint. And he obeyed that instinct faithfully.
