Chapter 59
Sia, deeply sunk in sleep, giggled when something damp licked at her nape and tickled. She thought, Maybe Lips is waking me up, but the memory of yesterday struck her immediately.
Her eyes flew open, and the heavy presence clinging to her back became clear.
“…Huh?”
But that presence wasn’t only felt against her back.
“W-What?”
“Shh, don’t move.”
Nox held Sia tightly and pressed what still connected them even deeper inside.
“Ah.”
“Haa…”
Having mated for the first time with his female, Nox himself was bewildered at being unable to separate. On top of that, because he wished for her to conceive properly, he had kept her locked up within his hold all night, guarding his mate.
“Why…”
Waking into such an embarrassing situation, Sia couldn’t even properly protest. That was because his still-considerable length and thickness was stirring and stretching within her walls.
“Hhh…”
“I’m not trying to do more. Just making sure it spreads well…”
At his calm words, Sia gasped and shouted.
“W-What do you mean?”
“What else? My seed has to break through safely, doesn’t it?”
“……”
So brazenly spoken, she was left speechless. True, she’d already noticed while working at Karin’s shop that this world was strikingly forward with its flirting.
She thought that was all, yet even in such matters between men and women, it was astonishingly open.
But since she felt no obligation to truly understand, Sia spoke firmly.
“I have something to say, so please let me go.”
Her voice was hoarse, her hands pushing at him without strength, yet she still tried desperately to escape his embrace. But she could not.
The more she pulled away, the more Nox drew her back, burying his face into her nape as he whispered.
“Don’t abandon me.”
“…What?”
“To give me love and then cast me aside… How cruel.”
“No…”
She had loved Lips, yes, but not Nox…
Of course, she could not deny he was a fine man. Gentlemanly, too… No, take that back.
Exactly which part of him was gentlemanly? The beast part of him? The human part of him? None, right?
And yet, if someone asked whether it had only hurt, she could not say yes. At first it had been confusing and a little painful, but afterward, she could hardly remember clearly, only that it kept overwhelming her senses. She even thought she had begun to want him more because of how good it felt.
“…Sia, please.”
When she gave no answer as she was lost in thought, Nox pressed his forehead to her nape, urging her. That gesture was exactly what Lips used to do, and Sia’s heart softened before she knew it.
“…Haa, first of all, I never once said I was leaving for good!”
“Lies.”
“No, how can you deny it so quickly?”
“Didn’t you say you’d return to your home world?”
“I said I’d visit! Not that I’d leave.”
“…Wherever your home world is, if God is involved, it must be somewhere I cannot follow. Surely you don’t truly believe you can just come back from a place like that?”
“What? God?”
Still speaking as they faced the same direction, Sia bit back a moan from the subtle sensation pressing inside and spoke more firmly again.
“For now, please move away.”
“……”
“Lord Nox, when we talk, we should face each other.”
“…Then, like this.”
At her demand, Nox lifted one of her legs and slid himself between, shifting so they faced each other in the missionary position. Meeting his eyes directly, Sia’s face flushed hot with embarrassment.
“Now isn’t this better?”
“No…”
“I’m still uneasy, so I can’t pull out. This is my first time too…”
With Nox’s face so close, Sia didn’t know where to look. To wake up in the morning sun like this was already embarrassing, but to see him look so unguarded and natural, it threw her off her even more. She was used to only seeing his stoic face at work.
“…Wait, your first time?”
“As you know, who would accept me with this black fur?”
“Then why are you so good at it?”
At her candid question, a faint flush spread across Nox’s cheeks. It made him happy to be properly acknowledged as a male by his female.
“I’m glad you liked it.”
“T-That’s not what I meant!”
