Chapter 77
At his quietly suggestive words, the tips of Sia’s ears flushed bright red. She almost doubted whether this man could really be the same cold, expressionless man from just a few days ago. Could a person really change so much just from sharing intimacy?
But Sia was no different. Though it had started because of a misunderstanding, she had found their first night together far more pleasurable than she’d expected. Of course, he sometimes went too long and left her exhausted, but she couldn’t help being drawn to Nox’s fierce desire for her.
When they were together it felt rough and overwhelming at first, yet little by little she could feel pleasure overtaking her. She didn’t even have to think about it. The moment he came close, she would already start to grow wet below.
Her body reacted faster than her mind. And so did Nox’s.
“…I can smell your scent.”
His low murmur came as his hand slid down between her thighs. At the intimate touch, Sia’s body trembled sharply. His fingers slipped between her folds, found the hidden bud, and rubbed it slowly as he lightly caught and released her lower lip with his teeth.
His voice, suddenly deeper, brushed hot and soft against her ear.
“You’re already wet.”
Like the steam filling the bath, his tone turned damp and heavy. Embarrassed, Sia pulled back slightly and covered her face with her arms.
“B-But… I haven’t even washed yet…”
She’d sweated quite a bit from being outside and, flustered, tried to hurry into the tub. But however fast she moved, before Nox she must have seemed like a slow little turtle.
Though she’d taken three quick steps first, in an instant she was lifted again. Nox had scooped her up with ease. Supporting her pale bottom with one arm, he stepped straight into the bathtub.
“W-Wait—?”
She’d thought he would just wash her like before, so she was startled when he entered the tub with her. Now sitting in his arms, pressed against his body, she felt every inch of him. The solid muscles, the smooth warmth of his skin.
“Haah… this feels nice.”
Even his exhale seemed damp with heat. His body clung to hers, impossible to peel away. Each time he breathed, something firm nudged against her back. Surprised, Sia unconsciously kept shifting forward.
But before she could really escape, he easily drew her back in and pressed her close again.
“Uncomfortable?”
“N-No, it’s just…”
She couldn’t bring herself to say out loud that it was because something was poking at her lower back. She didn’t know what words to use.
Watching her fidget restlessly, Nox gazed at her as though he would devour her whole, then scooped water in his palm and gently poured it over her round shoulders.
“Haaah…”
Warm water over her weary body made her instantly languid.
“You said you wanted to wash first. Don’t like this?”
“…No. I’m just… embarrassed.”
Hugging her knees and bowing her head slightly, Sia answered softly. She looked so endearing like that that Nox had to swallow hard to keep himself in check.
“Let’s bathe together from now on.”
“…Huh?”
“If we do it together often, the embarrassment will fade quickly.”
“Uh… I’m not sure about that…”
“Being with me… Is it uncomfortable?”
Why was he saying things like this, making it impossible for her to reply? Sia grumbled inwardly, but when his long arms wrapped tightly around her, her lips closed in an instant.
Held snugly in Nox’s broad, powerful chest, Sia’s heart pounded wildly from both nerves and excitement.
‘Wow… so this is a back hug. I fit into his arms so perfectly.’
Her heart leaned even further toward him. In truth, from the very first meeting she hadn’t been able to look away from his face. Maybe it had been love at first sight after all.
Lost in such stray thoughts, she unconsciously relaxed. As she let herself rest fully against him, her whole body melded from head to toe into his.
“Haaah…”
“Huu…”
Both let out long, quiet sighs of contentment at the same time. For Nox, this new closeness brought an indescribable peace, even as his heart still hammered as if it might burst from his chest.
