The beast she had considered docile was now penetrating her from behind, asserting his dominance as a male.
If he took it into his head to choke her, she would die without recourse.
“Hnngh, aahk!”
Yet even amidst this, Caligo continued to thrust vigorously. But the mental shock outweighed the physical pain; she could hardly think.
Now that she understood this rough treatment as intentional, even her will to resist faded.
She had trusted Caligo for no particular reason. She had thought he understood that they were husband and wife.
In the short time they had shared, over this fortnight, he had seemed to open his heart to her. Docile beneath her touch, seemingly willing in their acts. Or so she had believed.
With trust built thus, she had thought he would not harm her. That if she truly refused, he would stop—that they had sufficient communication.
But it was not so.
Her husband harboured resentment.
As if to prove this assumption, he thrust violently into her once more. The large member pounding into her without rhythm choked her breath as if it had reached her throat.
Until now, Fiona had controlled the pace and intensity, so she had never truly felt Caligo’s strength.
But the power with which he moved atop her was beyond imagination, and that brute force was now poured entirely into Fiona.
“Ah, ugh, uuk!”
She received his surging body as if being pushed away with each thrust. From her throat came not sweet cries but strained, laboured moans.
Yet even so, her body, no stranger to coupling with Caligo, sought out familiar pleasure.
The sounds of their flesh meeting and parting grew loud. Her body trembled with joy at the thick head of his member crushing her inner walls and striking deep within.
“Hahk, Fio, na, kuhk…”
Caligo’s hot breath covered her shoulder entirely. His warmth heated her body, but her heart grew cold.
Even his calling of her name now felt like nothing but deception. He who violated her thus while deriving pleasure seemed truly a beast.
Their two bodies, heated and entwined, were consumed by passion and reached the peak of pleasure, yet she felt no joy.
Fiona understood now. Pleasure given against one’s will was close to violence. While her body melted in sweet rapture, her mind grew rigid. The disconnect between mind and body threatened to drive her mad.
All her hopes that he was improving were dashed; everything became overwhelming and difficult. This was not the coupling of loving man and wife, but the mating of beasts. And one filled with vengeance.
As if to prove this, Caligo, having finished his release with a thrust of his hips, immediately withdrew from her. There was no embrace or kiss as between ordinary husband and wife. She had never taught him such things, but he did not even touch her body.
They had only joined below, and now it was over.
“Aagh, aah!”
Forced almost against her will to climax, Fiona’s body convulsed irregularly. Her inner walls, instinctively clenching around his manhood, trembled as if squeezing it. It was maddeningly good, yet at the same time, she was furious.
With this, she felt Caligo too release his breath roughly and spend himself. The warm liquid spreading below brought heat rushing back to her head.
Neither spoke. Only silence remained in the room where the storm had raged.
After hesitating a moment, Caligo suddenly seemed to realise something and hastily withdrew from her.
With a wet sound, his still-e***t member slid out.
She sensed him leaving the bed. He seemed to look at her for a moment, then left the room, abandoning Fiona where she lay exhausted.
Fiona sprawled upon the bed like a worn-out w***e after receiving a guest. Though tears did not come, she ground her teeth in inexplicable humiliation.
She had been growing attached to him. She had thought they shared something others could not understand. But he was indeed not an ordinary human. And he harboured enmity toward her.
This realization left her deeply weary and hurt.
Her thought that perhaps with time they might live as ordinary husband and wife had been terribly naive.
Not ordinary—now she could not even be certain of peaceful coexistence. The days of hopeful excitement had become as bleak as a lie.
Though he had made no promises, she felt utterly betrayed. Her spirits sank. Both body and mind, violated and weary, were exhausted.
The harshest of all nights was passing.
