Chapter 47
Kasselard looked disappointed. If they were going to roll around anyway, it would have been better to do it in the place where Ephinia always stayed.
Ephinia turned her back on Kasselard and looked at the head steward.
“Could I borrow an empty guest room?”
“There is a room suitable for His Highness’s use. I will have it prepared immediately, so please wait a moment.”
After speaking politely, the steward instructed a servant to usher the two of them to the reception room. While they waited for the room to be prepared, entertaining the Crown Prince would naturally be Ephinia’s responsibility. Realizing that, Ephinia made a displeased face, but Kasselard only looked delighted.
When he casually pressed his shoulder against hers already, Ephinia strode ahead quickly, and Kasselard followed behind with a quiet laugh.
‘It seems His Highness still has a long way to go before he matures.’
The steward quietly shook his head and called for the head maid.

The room Kasselard and Ephinia were led to was next to Ephinia’s. It was not a connected bedroom for a married couple with an inner door or anything like that, but just being close to her own room was enough to make Ephinia frown.
“What’s wrong? Is something bothering you?”
He asked with interest, but Ephinia shook her head. There was no reason to let him know that her room was right next door. If he said, “Really?” and then insisted on doing the guiding in her room instead, that would be troublesome.
Kasselard was the kind of person who would absolutely do that.
“It’s nothing. Let’s go in.”
As Ephinia entered the room first, Kasselard instructed the servant to make sure no one came near this area, then followed her inside.
The interior was not much different from Ephinia’s room. Since it was right next door, even the structure was the same, only the decorations were slightly different. As he entered, Kasselard made sure the door was not only closed but locked, then approached Ephinia.
When his arm slipped around her to pull her close, Ephinia’s feelings became complicated. Regardless of whether she disliked him, his touch itself didn’t feel unpleasant.
‘Is it because the match rate is high?’
There were many strange things about the physiology between a Guide and a Transcendent.
Physically, the Transcendent was far stronger, but according to what her instructor had explained, many powerful Transcendents were helpless before their Guides.
Even when a Guide met a Transcendent with a high match rate, the Guide didn’t feel any special emotions, but for the Transcendent, it was completely different. This was understood as an evolutionary trait that allowed Transcendents to survive.
“Do you want to do it with your chest again today? I’d like to try a different method…”
“What do you mean?”
Ephinia asked as she lightly caught his wrist and lifted his sleeve to check the bracelet’s number. After receiving guiding and managing himself properly, his level had not risen much.
“It’s more efficient for me to touch you than the other way around. I might have to go into battle soon… this won’t be enough. So…”
Let me use my mouth on you.
At his mischievous expression and words, Ephinia’s face flushed bright red. She opened and closed her mouth in shock before barely finding her voice.
“No!”
“Why? You handled mine however you wanted.”
“Th, that’s different, isn’t it?! I never put my mouth on it!”
At her point, Kasselard’s blue eyes flashed.
“Really? Then touching is fine? Let’s do it by touching!”
She had fallen into his trap. Ephinia was momentarily speechless as she stared at him. He smiled slyly and whispered.
“Or how about a kiss? I think I’d be fine with that too.”
The glance he cast at her lips looked as if he would press his mouth against hers the moment she gave permission. For a moment, Ephinia hesitated. He had already taken her lips whenever he wanted, and at that point it practically felt like they had already kissed deeply.
At the same time, however, the efficiency of the guiding so far had been so poor that she wondered if she should allow it.
‘The problem is…’
Whether he sucked her lips or touched her chest, none of it actually felt unpleasant. That damned match rate made her body react too strongly, so whenever guiding with Kasselard began, all she could do was gasp from the sensations.
‘If the Crown Prince really goes into battle, his condition will deteriorate quickly.’
So even if she refused now, it would be useless. Instead, she might end up facing a far worse situation later, forced into penetrative guiding without preparation. What she had touched while guiding Kasselard was something that didn’t seem like it could even belong to a human body.
