Chapter 132
“Don’t you like it?”
“That’s not it, but……. I’m afraid I’ll lose control again, and act without knowing my place…….”
“It’s all right, though.”
I brushed back my long hair, damp with sweat and clinging to my skin. Then I leaned forward, lying atop Isaac. Of course, I was careful not to put any pressure on his wound.
“On the contrary, I prefer it when you lose control. It feels like I’m not the only one enjoying this, ha~~ it’s nice”
“Ah~ Your Highness~~”
“So, yeah…….”
I wish you’d tell me you’re enjoying it too.
I swallowed those last words and instead sat upright, moving my hips again. Each rise and fall brought a fullness that sent waves of pleasure coursing through me.
“Your Highness, please…….”
Isaac reached for my waist several times, as though to stop me. But I knew that didn’t mean he disliked it. On the contrary, the warmth of his large hands caressing my waist made the experience even more stimulating.
Before long, Isaac’s thighs began to move in rhythm with mine. His movements grew faster, and eventually, I took control entirely.
“Ah~hah……! Lord, ohh~!”
“Ha~a, Your Highness…….”
My body trembled under the sensations. Though we’d only tried this position once before, Isaac quickly learned how to target my most sensitive spots.
His thick cxck pressed against me perfectly, leaving me breathless as I reached my peak in no time. Isaac, too, clutched my hips and thighs tightly as he groaned, drawing in heavy breaths.
The dampness between us grew wetter still, and I could feel a slickness escaping the place where we were joined. I was drunk with satisfaction, relieved that I didn’t have to worry about pregnancy and pleased to have driven this man to such heights.
Isaac, still catching his breath, suddenly released his grip on me, his expression one of surprise.
“I’m sorry, Your Highness. I…….”
I didn’t need to hear the rest to know he was about to apologize out of habit.
What did I say last time? Did I just tell him it was fine? I couldn’t quite remember, but I vaguely recalled his affection dropping.
Perhaps all the affection I’d painstakingly raised would plummet again…… but—
“I liked it.”
I cut him off and quickly added, “How about you?”
“My opinion doesn’t…….”
I didn’t need to hear the end of that predictable response. Instead, I silenced him with a light kiss. Isaac flinched but obediently parted his lips.
“M-mm~ aah…nghh~~”
After sharing a brief kiss, I resumed moving my hips, drawing a low groan from Isaac.
“Your Highness, no more…….”
“You know, Lord? Your face is red right now.”
I whispered as I gazed at the man looking up at me with bewildered eyes.
“I hope, like me, you’re enjoying this too……. What do you think? Do you like it?”
Though I asked, I didn’t expect much of an answer. It was just a question that slipped out, carried by the moment.
I assumed he’d deflect, as he always did, or say something dismissive about his feelings not mattering.
But then—
“……Yes.”
His reply surprised me. His voice was so quiet I barely caught it, but his next words were even softer.
“For me, it’s more than I deserve.”
What did he mean by that?
I was taken aback, my chest tightening with an unfamiliar emotion. Isaac had never been this honest about his feelings before. This unexpected change thrilled me.
“Me too, yes, it feels good…….”
I couldn’t help but smile, regardless of his affection.

After the iron supplements were successfully distributed, I waited for Evgenia to summon me.
Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait long. Evgenia called for me within three days.
Once again, the meeting was held in her study. Though I’d had several private audiences with her, I still couldn’t feel at ease in her presence. Even knowing she held a relatively high affection for me didn’t help.
‘There’s nothing good about letting your guard down.’
No matter how favorable she seemed now, I couldn’t predict when her opinion might shift. I’d already learned that lesson through others.
As I waited nervously for her to speak, expecting the conversation to revolve around the iron supplements, she surprised me with a different question.
“How are you feeling?”
“Pardon……?”
All of a sudden?
I tilted my head, puzzled. Was she asking about the muscle aches I’d suffered after sharing mana with Isaac a few days ago? Surely not…….
“I heard you were stabbed by a commoner.”
“Oh.”
So she was talking about the incident at the distribution center.
“It was a surprise attack, but I wasn’t injured. My guardian shielded me and got hurt instead.”
“I must have misheard in my distraction. Your guardian was injured? Surely not Duke Harsen…… and your other guardian wouldn’t be hurt so easily either.”
“Lord Isaac was injured.”
“Duke Harsen?”
Evgenia’s expression was one of disbelief. She looked as though she’d heard something utterly incomprehensible.
“Was the commoner that skilled? Enough to harm Duke Harsen?”
“I don’t think that was the case.”
“Then how did he get hurt?”
For a moment, I didn’t know how to respond. How could I explain that Isaac had lost his composure and acted impulsively to protect me?
After carefully choosing my words, I finally opened my mouth.
