Chapter 48
There wasn’t even a save point here. She didn’t find a single one on the way to get here, which means she might have to start over from the part where she moved the sword-wielding statues.
But after all the things she went through with Segleninde, she couldn’t just let all that be for nothing. She had to find some way out of this.
Cynthia hoped desperately that the names written on the bowls would be ones she could fulfill without seeing a ‘Death Scene’, and opened the door, stepping inside.
But.
“Huh?”
The bowls were gone.
To be precise, the platform where the bowls were supposed to sit was completely empty, and only shards of broken bowls lay scattered around. And the door straight ahead stood wide open, as if someone had forcibly ripped it off its hinges.
“What the hell…”
Even as she approached the open doorway, questions swirled in her mind.
Could this be related to the moment when the crossbow–wielding statue shattered right after she died from that arrow? Though the situation was nauseating beyond belief, there was nothing she could do but guess… and almost all her guesses were tragically grim, so she gave up on thinking about it.
When she entered the second door, the next room was in a similar state.
This room was designed so that the door would open only if a large glass vessel in the center were filled with blood. If you explored the first floor enough, you’d naturally find a bottle of blood to pour in. If you couldn’t, you’d have to collect the blood yourself—even sacrifice your companion, just as in the previous room.
But the vessel for catching blood lay shattered. Its door, too, had been violently torn off.
“…Could Segleninde be more dangerous than I thought?”
Cynthia felt a deep sense of unease. Now she even had to worry whether her ally might be the culprit.
What would await her in the final room? If it was like this again, it would be nerve-wracking even to proceed calmly to the resting point.
‘Still… this is convenient, at least. Surely if he went to the trouble of making it so easy for me, he couldn’t be an enemy?’
A strange relief washed over her. With a ‘whatever happens, happens’ attitude, Cynthia entered the third room. As long as opening this door didn’t trigger a deadly chase scene with a new enemy, she could live with it.
But ever since she arrived in this world, fate had been hitting the back of her head without pause.
A wave of dread surged up her throat, sour and nauseating.
Reward: 3 Luven gold coins, key to the Second Floor Rest Point.
“Wh… What? This is insane.”
With horror, Cynthia barely managed to take in the sight before her.
This room was completely white—from floor to ceiling, as if painted over.
And in the center stood two lonely chairs. One of them had an object abruptly protruding from the seat. Its length and girth were no less than the combined size of two adult male fingers. On Earth, it would’ve been called a d***o. And here it was, jutting out of the chair.
Cynthia nearly fainted. The grotesque spectacle made the quest’s purpose painfully clear.
In other words, from now on, she had to use that d***o attached to the chair to bring herself to climax.
“Are you kidding me?!”
It’s not even one of those infamous ‘can’t escape unless you have s*x’ rooms. It’s a ‘can’t escape unless you touch yourself’ room?!
It felt like just yesterday that Segleninde had eaten her out and sucked her to o****m, and now they expected her to climax all by herself? Had the game developers heard that e****c games sell better than horror games and decided to switch genres on a whim?
