Aiden, who had seemed to ignore Ivonne’s words, spoke up. After all, he was the one who had manipulated the god twice to suit his own desires.

Even if the power of Novnie within him had been completely drained during the process, how godlike he must have felt. Aiden muttered while absentmindedly caressing his chin.

“There’s one thing I regret. In the process of sending you to another dimension, most of the power inside me was used up, so I couldn’t move immediately and had to create a fake, Isaac…”

“And once your power was nearly restored, you approached me as Lee Nakwon, planning to come back, right?”

“Yes. What I wanted was the Novnie of this world. After weakening it, I needed to bring it back.”

When Ivonne asked in a voice that showed her disinterest, Aiden chuckled and answered. Ivonne, unable to bear the sight of him, spoke even more sharply.

“But then, using the magic circle to move dimensions, you lost your power, leaving me to make contact with Herix. Am I wrong?”

Aiden’s mask, which had been smugly grinning, finally began to crack slightly. Ivonne seized the opportunity.

“And Aiden, you’ll never have me.”

It was the one thing he hated to hear most.

“When I… when I abandoned Ivonne’s body into Herix’s hands.”

“…”

“You must have been in agony, knowing you could never have that body. You must have been furious. Perhaps you even felt powerless. So, you killed me in the modern world. Am I right?”

“…What are you talking about? Speak clearly.”

“By the way, back when you were Lee Nakwon, you didn’t even bother hiding your dark green eyes, pretending they were colored contacts. Have you ever thought of dyeing your hair.”

“Haha! You even remember that? Seems like everything’s come back to you. So now you know that I’ve been planting ideas in your head, pretending the affairs of this world were part of a novel, complete with fabricated reader reactions.”

“Yes, I had wondered how, unlike in the original story, I could use my powers so comfortably. Turns out, it was brainwashing.”

The difference in details between Isaac’s diary found in the tower and the original story was because of this. Isaac’s diary was the truth.

At Ivonne’s response, Aiden laughed joyously, as if he couldn’t be happier.

“Hahaha, ha! Perfect, ah! Perfect!”

He laughed with his mouth wide open, tilting his head back. He looked so happy, it seemed like pure ecstasy radiated from him. In response, Ivonne gave a cold sneer.

“Go ahead and laugh. You won’t be able to anymore. You’re the one who burst my head open to kill me. To kill me in a different way from Herix, and because you couldn’t stand my black hair.”

Aiden, who had previously ignored her words, froze. His eyes, which had been brightly smiling behind his eyelids, now turned to face Ivonne.

“So, you turned my final moments in that world into that kind of tragedy, didn’t you? No, wait. Is this revenge for me telling you that you would never possess me, even if it meant dying by Herix’s hand? You think you can have me, you think you can kill me…?”

Aiden’s expression gradually hardened, and the corners of his mouth began to fall. It was because Ivonne’s presence radiated with a massive aura of power.

‘You didn’t take it from me…’

This meant that Ivonne had been subconsciously gathering her strength in preparation for when she would ‘know everything.’ And this was not part of Aiden’s plan.

“I also figured out your plan to separate Blitzen from me by luring Celestia. But what now? This is my world. Didn’t you think I’d prepare defenses when I crossed dimensions into this place?”

The suggestion not to love, that controlling presence—it was certainly Aiden’s doing. It was perhaps a warning even in the agape love that a god possesses, a warning to take exceptions should be made.

At Ivonne’s words, a loud bell rang in Aiden’s mind, signifying a warning. The more his dark green eyes filled with shock, the stronger the force around Ivonne became.

Crack, snap…!

The thick walls of the tower cracked. It shook violently, as though an earthquake had struck.

When Ivonne swept her hand, a tremendous explosion was felt, starting from the bottom of the tower, followed by an overwhelming vibration. The tower collapsed with a deafening roar.

“…!”

Aiden waved his hand, but the magic did not activate.

“Ugh, aahhh!”

Aiden’s scream echoed as he fell with the tower, but Ivonne remained unbothered, floating above the rubble, creating a cloud of dust in the air.

“You betrayed me.”

The fragment of the tower that had been destroyed now inherited Ivonne’s will and attempted to bury Aiden beneath it. All the debris carried a murderous intent to kill him.

‘So, is it true? A real god… is different.’

Everything in the world, now imbued with animosity and murderous intent toward Aiden, responded. Even inanimate objects, devoid of souls or will, would now obey the god that had created them—the god whose will had shaped the very world.

The emotions Aiden had taught and made Ivonne aware of, the anger that followed, had caused this world to consider Aiden as its enemy.

“Ugh…!”

No matter how many barriers he raised, it was difficult. After all, magic itself originated from the world of Novnie. Moreover, the power he wielded was drawn from Novnie itself.

“No….!”
