With hair painted in shades of yellow topaz and amber and eyes as vivid and mysterious as the wings of a morpho butterfly, there stood Blitzen, who had attended the party in disguise through Celestia’s magic.
“What happened? Why am I…”
“You fainted, unable to withstand the Crown Prince’s aura. After he left, I brought you here for your safety,” explained Blitzen as he lifted Celestia’s hand, gently pressing his lips between her fingers in a tender kiss.
Celestia, touched by the affectionate gesture, winced slightly at a sudden pain, likely from hitting her shoulder or back when she fell.
Had no one been there to catch her when she collapsed? Where was Blitzen at that time? Such questions briefly crossed her mind as Celestia covered Blitzen’s now undisguised face with her other hand.
“The magic has worn off.”
“It’s alright. You’ll cast it again, won’t you?”
“Of course, I will. But I still prefer your true appearance.”
“I feel the same. I wished to openly enjoy the banquet with you, but there will be other opportunities. Please promise to be by my side again.”
The whispering voice was purely sweet, without any impurities. Celestia felt her heart flutter from the thrill that surged up her fingers.
Blitzen was truly the ideal man. He was as beautiful and kind as she had dreamed of, the very image she would recall even in her final moments. It felt almost surreal how their hearts were now connected.
Celestia was receiving a warm gaze that could never compare to how he looked at Ivonne. Every word, gesture, and act of consideration was hers alone to cherish at this moment.
‘I really did well to follow ‘that person’s’ advice.’
She sighed languidly, intoxicated by this bliss, feeling a profound satisfaction at the fact that such a perfect and beautiful man loved her. Yet, a cold chill ran through her, stiffening her body as she became more alert.
The piercing purple eyes of the Crown Prince, Herix Glacian Questiago came to mind.
‘What is with Ivonne? What is her relationship with the Crown Prince?’
Why did that monstrous being act so meekly and tenderly only towards Ivonne? What had happened between them? After all, how much of a connection could there be between a Crown Prince and a commoner?
Her mind was spinning. She was so confused that she was feeling nauseated by the reality. This feeling was particularly disgusting for Celestia, born with the noble nature to control and manipulate everything around her.

“Ivonne, Rix!” someone knocked on the door of the Tens mansion.
The cheerful voice belonged to none other than Department Head Johann, who was carrying a box of premium cakes, considering it might not look good to visit an employee’s home on the weekend.
He waited for the door to open with a bright smile, but it faded quickly.
“…Your Highness?”
Johann had somewhat expected Rix to answer the door instead of Ivonne, but he hadn’t anticipated the person greeting him to look so haggard.
‘Well, according to your plan, you’re living with the Miss now, but why? I heard you even danced with her yesterday, albeit as Rix.’
Then why does he look so gloomy? Or rather, ‘gloomy’? Who would have thought that the Crown Prince, rumored to be ill if he showed any emotion on his face, could look like this?
