Chapter 53
Chapter 7 – Encounter of Two Transmigrators
Half a day was definitely not enough. Not only had they only made love once because Lysei had fainted afterward, but her teasing had been utterly irresistible. While anticipating their reunion, he’d vowed to cater only to her desires, a promise shattered by a single whispered plea from Lysei.
Edin gently parted her still-sensitive folds, slick with arovsal. He rubbed the tip of his engorged length, already wet with precvm and saliva, against her entrance. A faint tremor ran through Lysei as he grazed her opening. Unable to resist the subtle spark of pleasure, Edin thrust deeply, burying himself to the hilt.
Lysei cried out, her head thrown back as his sudden penetration hit just the right spot. “Ah!”
The intensity was almost overwhelming. Edin paused, catching his breath. He showered Lysei’s face with tender kisses—her forehead, eyes, the bridge and slope of her nose, her cheeks and lips—fighting to regain control. Finally, he propped himself up slightly and began to move.
“Ah! Haah! Ha!”
With one hand cupping her bre4st, he continued his rhythmic thrusts. His sculpted muscles, more defined and sensval than any athlete’s, rippled with each movement. His size still stretched her, sending shivers of exquisite sensation through her.
The more intimately connected they became, the more Edin felt a gnawing sense of inadequacy. A dark, possessive hunger surged within him, even as they were joined. He wanted to hide Lysei away, where only he could see her, where her gaze would fall on no one but him. This possessiveness fueled his passion, turning his intended tenderness into something rougher.
He withdrew with a sharp pull, then plunged back in with a sudden, forceful thrust. The jolt of pleasure, almost painful in its intensity, made Lysei reach up and twine her arms around his neck. Edin collapsed onto her, surrendering to the escalating rhythm.
“Ah! Ah! Ah! Ha!”
“Ha, Sei.”
Even in the throes of passion, hearing her name on his lips sent her heart racing. Her legs, spread wide, ached and trembled from his relentless assault. Edin held her hips tight, driving into her with powerful strokes. Each time he reached deep inside, a searing pleasure, almost painful, shot through her, culminating in a blinding wave of ecstasy.

“What is this?” Lysei asked, looking down at the transparent bracelet Edin was fastening around her wrist. As soon as it was secured, it shimmered with mystical symbols before vanishing completely.
“A protective ward. You’ll need it when you use your sword.”
“…A protective ward?”
“It will deflect any attack your sword can’t block.”
“Oh…!”
“I should have given this to you sooner. I wasn’t thinking clearly.” Edin murmured, his gaze falling on the nearly healed wound on Lysei’s neck.
“How could you have imagined I’d be attacked like that?”
“The Founding Festival is approaching, and you’ll need to be more vigilant. Most of the shadows protecting you will be reassigned during the festivities.”
Ah… the Founding Festival.
The words triggered a flood of memories from the original story. It was during the Founding Festival that the heroine, Luigia, would arrive at the Imperial Palace as the next Nyxna. That marked the true beginning of the story.
What should she do?
Luigia needed to arrive before the festival began. According to the original story, heretics from other countries, disguised as envoys, would infiltrate the empire during the festival. This was orchestrated by the Empress’s father, Marquis Beneretti. His plan was to use invisible dark magic to collapse the Founding Monument during the Emperor’s celebratory parade, a procession the Empress never attended. The monument’s collapse after the Emperor’s passing would fuel rumors of divine displeasure, undermining the Emperor’s authority and swaying public opinion.
However, Luigia, noticing something amiss with the monument, would alert Zerga, and it would be removed before the parade. At this point in the original story, Luigia was still a Beta and hadn’t yet developed her ability to see dark magic. The incident served as foreshadowing, hinting at Luigia’s latent powers and, true to the harem genre, earning her Zerga’s favor.
After Edin returned to the Imperial Palace, Lysei fell into deep thought. If she selfishly kept Luigia away, events detrimental to Edin would undoubtedly unfold during the Founding Festival. But bringing Luigia here meant delivering Edin’s destined partner to him while she was still his Nyxna. The thought was unbearable.
Yet, she reasoned, Edin and Luigia were fated to meet, regardless of her actions. Her continued existence as Edin’s Nyxna, when she should have been dead, had already altered the original storyline. Perhaps, for Edin’s sake, it was her responsibility, as the one who’d deviated from the original narrative, to bring Luigia to him.
