Chapter 50
Herman, uncharacteristically, felt a pang of frustration. Even though he had been the one to first bring up personal boundaries, it was absurd—no, downright infuriating—that the moment he considered comforting her, this had to happen.
‘Why.’
Why did traces of a woman he’d already rejected have to resurface now, of all times? At this point, his past dalliances with other women felt like a lifetime ago.
A heavy silence pressed down on the heated air between them.
Esina, too, seemed to have caught the scent. Her ragged breaths stilled before her gaze lifted to meet his.
“…Ah!”
Not wanting to see what lay in her eyes, Herman deliberately avoided her stare and instead positioned himself at her entrance.
Slick arousal coated his length. The head of his c**k brushed against her c**t again and again, each pass sending her body sliding back until the bed’s headboard thudded from the impact. Herman wedged a hand between the wood and Esina’s head, but his hips didn’t stop. Thrust. Thrust. The relentless rhythm jostled the nightstand beside the bed, sending objects tumbling to the floor one by one.
Clatter. Roll.
Among them was Esina’s bag and belongings, spilling out in a chaotic heap. Her pupils trembled when she spotted a small red bottle peeking out from the mess.
‘That’s…’
The emergency contraceptive pills she’d been selling off for cash.
‘If he sees that bottle, things will get awkward.’
The thought made her flinch and twist beneath him.
“Ah, ah! Wait…!”
Herman memorized every twitch of her body.
Her legs, which had been parted for him, now squirmed as if trying to close.
…As if she had suddenly remembered what kind of man he was and recoiled.
The more she resisted, the firmer, faster his movements became.
“Her…man…!”
The moment Esina’s hands pressed against his shoulders as if to push him away, Herman gritted his teeth without realizing it. All this time—
‘She’s never rejected me like this before.’
No matter how harsh his words had been, she had always smiled at him, her eyes shining—
‘…No.’
Memories flashed through his mind, contradicting that thought.
The round back of her head as she turned her gaze away from him, as if hurt. The way she bowed her head, trying to hide her disappointment. The damp eyes that looked at him as if blaming him.
…When was the last time he had told Esina he loved her?
Just moments ago, he had still believed she loved him.
But the realization that it might all be a misunderstanding twisted his body with a dull, heavy pain. Instead of voicing it, he pressed his lips to her forehead and pulled her close.
“Wait…!”
Struggling, Esina barely managed to lower one leg and kick the bag at her feet out of sight with a swift motion.
Finally hiding the bottle, she let out a sigh of relief. Only then did she look up at Herman, drained of strength, and spoke to him in a pleading tone.
“Herman. Please….”
Herman, too, felt Esina stop squirming. Her ragged breaths still sounded as if they were rejecting him.
“Don’t be upset.”
“…….”
“You already knew everything.”
Even as he spoke, his thick, veined c**k—as thick as a child’s forearm—rubbed against her genitalia, twitching. Esina looked at him with desperate eyes.
‘Right. I already knew everything.’
Stop teasing and just put it in already, you diamond trash.
The last thought carried a hint of playful affection. Diamond trash. To Esina, that was now the highest compliment.
Herman was the trashy rough diamond she had personally handpicked. It was an expression that carried her pride in having chosen him herself.
If they weren’t in the middle of s*x, she might have yawned—she wanted to stop this conversation they’d had too many times already. Right now, every passing second felt too precious to waste.
‘Who doesn’t know that you’re not serious about me, that you’ll just wander around wherever you please?’
Now, whenever that thought crossed her mind, her chest prickled with a dull ache. She hated the idea of him turning his attention elsewhere, but…
‘Still… I want to stay together a little longer.’
After all, hadn’t he promised to see only her until she bore his child? And if she never got pregnant, maybe he’d stay with her forever.
