Chapter 16
A stinging pain shot through me, a sickening, unfamiliar sensation that twisted my insides. I writhed, crying out in protest, but Clovis continued his relentless rhythm. His s*x, a brutal intrusion against my wounded walls, was unbearable. Each thrust, a withdrawal followed by a forceful return, amplified the raw agony. Screams tore from my throat, hoarse and unending. It felt as if my skin were being flayed against rough bark.
“Hnh…Hah…”
“No…Aaagh!”
Every attempt to refuse him was met with another savage thrust, as if my protests were a punishable offense.
“Stop…Please stop…”
My desperate pleas, my cries of refusal, only spurred him on, his movements growing more frenzied.
‘When will this end?’ The answer was simple. It had begun without my consent; it would end when he decreed. Gasps mingled with the pressure building within me, threatening to shatter my body.
I clutched at his arms in a desperate attempt to lessen the pain, but he simply pinned my wrists to the bed. I felt like a broken puppet, tossed about by his relentless movements. I longed for the oblivion of unconsciousness, but the escalating pain only sharpened my senses.
‘Should I bite my tongue?’ The thought drifted vaguely through my mind as I noticed Clovis’s face contort slightly. A warm gush spread within me, followed by a trickle down my chin. I must have bitten my tongue hard enough to draw blood.
Spent, Clovis collapsed on top of me, his long arms pulling me close. His now-softened s*x pressed deeper inside. Despair washed over me as I stared blankly at him. His expression, as he caught his breath, was a complex mixture of relief, regret, and a strange anxiety that had him glancing repeatedly at the translucent canopy above the bed.
Tears streamed down my face, dampening the hair at my temples. Hesitant fingers brushed against my cheek. I turned my head away, anger flaring, and in that moment, I saw what Clovis had been anxiously awaiting.
“Your Highness. What urgent matter did you…!”
Three figures entered through the parted canopy. Even in the dim light, their silhouettes were instantly recognizable. Just as I saw them, they saw us, entangled and nakd on the bed.
“Your Highness! What…what is the meaning of this!” The Empress’s voice, though laced with shock, retained its regal composure.
“As you see.” Clovis’s voice was remarkably calm, as if he weren’t still partially inside me. He withdrew, the sight of blood-tinged s*men sickeningly visceral. He draped my torn priestly robes over me and wrapped the bedsheet around his waist before sweeping the canopy aside.
“I have, in a moment of weakness, defiled the sacred lamb of the temple.”
“Brother!” Hestia, who had trailed behind the Empress and the High Priest, shrieked. The Empress swayed, clutching her head.
“Therefore,” Clovis turned to the High Priest. The man’s face was hidden behind Clovis’s broad back, but I could only imagine his bewildered expression. “High Priest, First Staff of the Divine, I will take responsibility for my sin. I will take in Adelina, novice priestess of Merecina, who may now carry the royal heir.”
“Your Highness! What are you saying?!”
“Your Imperial Highness…That…that…Good heavens.”
“Brother! Are you out of your mind?!”
I couldn’t take it anymore. Just enduring this long had been beyond my limit. Once again, I simply shut down, watching as Hestia, losing all reason, flew at her brother, flailing wildly at his arms, then turning towards me.
