Chapter 31
With a shudder, I shook my head. Reynard, tears welling in the corners of his eyes, said with a laugh, “Can’t I just put the tip in? I’ll go slow. Please? Just a little bit.”
It was a cute plea, if you wanted to see it that way. Not exactly the words one would associate with a man of his size, but there it was.
I immediately shook my head, my refusal sharp and final. Even just the tip would tear me apart. I didn’t want to experience the excruciating pain of that delicate part of me ripping and bleeding again.
It’s where babies come from, yes, but I don’t think I’ll ever get used to that.
‘D*mn it, this is why you have to start things right. The first time was such a mess, now I’m terrified.’
I bit my nails, desperately searching for an escape, when a large wall of bare skin blocked my view. “I can’t force you if you’re shaking like that. Alright.”
Thank goodness he was listening.
‘Okay. So you’re not the worst kind of trash like Clovis.’
“But you can touch me.”
Reynard took my hand in his and guided it to his gro*n.
I stared up at Reynard, who had just forced me to touch his bulging, veiny pillar of flesh.
‘Ugh, you’re all the same.’

It didn’t take long for Reynard to reach his peak. He placed his hand over mine, holding his p*nis in place, and with a few brief strokes, he spilled his seed.
“Just so you know, I’m not a premature ejac*lator. It’s just that you were the first to touch me like this, and I thought you wanted it to be over quickly, so I made it quick.”
‘Who would even worry about that? And with your size, premature ejac*lation would probably be better for a woman’s health.’
I averted my gaze from the member that remained impressively large even after unleashing such a copious amount, letting Reynard’s words wash over me.
Reynard chuckled, asking if I didn’t believe him, then took my hand. His touch was meticulous as he carefully wiped away the sticky, milky-white fluid.
The same hands that had cut down lives like flies—no, monster lives like flies—were now incredibly gentle. It dawned on me then.
‘Ah, so this is what he learned in the brothels.’
“Small hands. They feel even smaller now that I’m looking at them like this.” He paused. “You’ve done so much with these hands. My world practically began with them.”
After meticulously cleaning each finger, Reynard kissed the back of my hand. It was the kind of chaste kiss a knight would offer a lady. Noble, careful, and tender.
“That’s too noble a kiss for a mast*rbation tool.”
He had the nerve to act all refined after forcing my hand onto himself and ejac*lating.
I coldly pulled my hand away, and Reynard wore a wounded expression. “Let me feel like this trip was worth it. That look really hurts me, you know.”
‘Oh, really now?’
I gave him a sardonic look, then frowned, something in his words catching my attention. “How did you even find me?”
I had escaped through a secret passage known only to the High Priest and a few high-ranking officials of the temple.
The temple’s supply wagon had stopped at a location entirely different from its original destination, and I had boarded an unscheduled carriage, ending up in this unfamiliar town. So how had he found me?
“Starting to appreciate the Black Hawk Mercenary Company’s intelligence network?”
Reynard’s nonchalant reply oozed with confidence.
It was no exaggeration to say that the Black Hawk Mercenary Company held immense power, undertaking the most dangerous tasks within the Empire.
They were also the ones who had picked up orphaned Reynard and raised him into a living weapon. Originally a shadowy organization specializing in assassinations, the Black Hawks had grown to their current size after Reynard gained power.
After he acquired his noble title, a figurehead leader was put in place to circumvent the imperial law limiting the number of private soldiers a noble could maintain, but Reynard remained the true master of the organization.
I knew this secret—a secret unknown even to Seikan or Helion—because I had read the original story. Reynard also suspected that I knew.
“You followed me from the temple? I should advise the High Priest to replace the entire temple security force.” At my serious tone, Reynard let out a loud laugh, then wiped the amusement from his face as if it had never been there.
“Adelina, while it’s true my eyes are always on you, don’t treat me like a criminal. I purposely followed you because the mercenary company received a request concerning you.”
