“Oh my…! Lady Wittgen, you are truly so beautiful! How is it that everything suits you so well… As expected, His Highness the Grand Duke’s choices are always perfect!”

Apparently the thoughts of the boutique’s madame and the attendants were different from hers. Well, that made sense. They would want to sell at least one more expensive dress.

The exhausting fashion show that had drained all of Mina’s energy finally ended in the late afternoon when the sun had already begun to set. In the end, Leonhardt practically swept through the shop’s finest dresses and purchased twenty of them. The remaining five would be sent to the Wittgen ducal residence as soon as they were completed. And that wasn’t all. Leonhardt didn’t stop there and also bought various jewels, gloves, shoes, and accessories.

Mina collapsed onto the sofa in exhaustion. Her body felt like it was trembling. She had no strength left, and cold sweat even began to form. Until now she hadn’t shown any noticeable pain besides the manifestation pain, but the time when she would no longer be able to hide the symptoms of the Name was slowly approaching.

“Your complexion doesn’t look very good.”

It was just as Leonhardt, who was sitting beside her, placed his large hand lightly against Mina’s forehead.

“Ah!”

The spot his fingertips touched suddenly tingled as if an electric current had run through it. It was a sharp, intense spark that felt as if it might pierce through her skin for a moment.

Startled, Mina jumped up and hurriedly pulled her body back. Rubbing the stinging spot, she looked at Leonhardt, but he too looked down at his own hand with a puzzled expression, as if he had felt something.

“Are you alright?”

When Leonhardt asked, Mina quietly nodded.

What was that just now? Mina tilted her head in confusion. At that moment Leonhardt’s voice rang beside her ear.

“Tomorrow at the hunting competition, wear the red dress you tried on first.”

Mina nodded, feeling slightly awkward. The dress he mentioned was a soft velvet gown that revealed the curves from her upper body to her hips, and it had a glamorous design with a deeply cut neckline.

‘Is that his preference?’

Mina tilted her head. It was a very burdensome design, but she had no choice.

“Please come in.”

Rose smiled brightly and handed out teacups one by one that had already been filled. Steam curled upward as a faint fragrance of tea spread through the air.

“It’s a very expensive tea imported from the Eastern Continent, and they say the fragrance fades if it gets cold.”

At that, everyone eagerly picked up their teacups and began sipping while savoring the aroma. Rose quietly glanced at Mina. With an awkward expression, Mina was staring blankly at the pale yellow liquid filling her cup, looking exactly like a sewer rat cornered with nowhere to run.

After thoroughly reading books about Names, Rose had reached only one conclusion. All of Mina’s symptoms were the typical symptoms of a Name. And yet look at her desperately trying to hide it! There should be a limit to pretending nothing is wrong.

Rose twisted her lips. She had absolutely no intention of letting that idiot push her around, nor of letting Leopold be taken away.

‘Because I’m the female lead of this novel!’

The Name that should naturally have manifested on her might have failed because of Mina’s Name. If that was the case, shouldn’t the thief properly pay the price?

The moment Mina dared to mention the name ‘Leo’ during that boating trip, Rose had already given her a sharp warning she wouldn’t forget. Yet that idiot seemed to have forgotten everything already.

She had even pushed that wench into the lake on purpose so she could cool her head in the cold water and come to her senses, and now she claimed it was amnesia. What a ridiculous story.

Fortunately, Rose had the powerful shield of Empress Tilda. What kind of person was the Empress? When it came to cruelty, she was truly the most cold blooded person in the Empire. Even Gisella, her closest lady-in-waiting, would shudder in horror at the Empress’s nature.

To someone like Tilda, the most important person was only her son. Tilda would never allow even the slightest blemish on her prized son. If she were to learn about Mina’s Name, it was obvious she would never let it go.

So all Rose had to do was casually drop a few words so that the matter would naturally reach Tilda’s ears. Then her future mother-in-law would handle everything without Rose having to step forward herself.

That was why she had quickly come up with this tea gathering.

Angela Achstein, a young lady of similar age whom she was usually close with, was Tilda’s niece.

Moreover, she had personally witnessed everything when Tilda’s Name manifested. In fact, all the information Rose knew about Names before she even confirmed it through books had originally come from Lady Achstein.

So who could possibly be more suitable than her?
