Chapter 56
Chapter 56
His touch ignited a warmth, a blush rising wherever his fingers lingered. He then grazed her chapped, parted lips with his thumb. The slick smear against her delicate skin sent a strange shiver down her spine.
“Shall I tell you?” His voice held a soothing quality. Hilde, desperate to escape the tension, nodded unconsciously.
“Good.” Benedict suddenly took a sip from his teacup. The next instant, his lips were on hers.
She recoiled at the sudden intrusion. No. But even as she tried to pull away, the back of her neck was firmly grasped. Her head tilted back, their lips sealing more completely.
A rush of lukewarm tea flooded her mouth. The bitter, astringent liquid coated her tongue as his hot tongue probed between her lips, invading without hesitation. His flesh, mingling with the tea, delved deep into her throat.
The lapping movements, accompanied by the tea, were both skillful and rhythmic. He teased and rubbed the sensitive skin inside her palate, a place she herself had never touched, sending chills down her spine.
A haze descended, but even through it, she struggled to escape. Yet, as he coiled his tongue around hers like a serpent, pulling strongly, her strength drained away. The intense, raw sensation left her unable to think.
He held her pliant form more firmly, pressing his advantage. The sound of wet flesh clinging and parting echoed between them. Saliva, she couldn’t tell whose, mixed with tea, continuously flowed down her throat.
Benedict finally withdrew, leaving her breathless and dazed.
“You need to breathe,” he whispered, their lips barely apart. His breath and the subtle vibrations tickled her lips. She gasped for air, her chest heaving, yet still aware of the low resonance against her mouth.
“Do you still not understand?” His words, as he slowly pulled away, made her eyelashes flutter.
“It’s sweet,” he finally revealed. Struggling to regain her senses, Hilde’s eyes widened even as she gasped for breath.
Sweet? Her bewildered gaze questioned him. He chuckled and called to her, “Rabbit.”
Hilde flinched, her eyes darting towards the terrace. But the door was firmly closed, and the rabbit she had healed and saved was nowhere to be seen.
“Where are you looking? Your master is calling you.” Her wide eyes returned to Benedict. Her lips moved soundlessly before finally forming words.
“Me…?”
His red lips curved into an affirmative smile. His eyes crinkled as he asked, “How was it?”
How was it? Hilde honestly couldn’t remember. From the moment his tongue, laced with tea, invaded her mouth, her mind had gone blank.
As she hesitated, unsure how to answer, Benedict gently caressed her flushed cheek.
“You didn’t taste it again, did you? Then I’ll just have to give you another taste.”
“No, I…”
“Then you did taste it?”
“That’s…”
“You didn’t.” Hilde couldn’t deny it. Even without his instruction not to lie, she was never good at deception.
“I suppose I have no choice.” He picked up the half-empty teacup and commanded, “Open your mouth.” His playful smile had vanished, replaced by a chilling expression. As she hesitated, startled, he leaned closer, their eyes meeting.
“Didn’t you say you wanted to stay here?” Then you should try to please your master. The words were soft, but the implication was a clear warning. Hilde’s lips trembled.
“Open your lips.” Her sealed lips quivered, then parted slightly as if granting permission.
“Good girl.” Benedict’s stern expression melted into a painted smile. “Savor it this time.” He then devoured her lips, like a predator upon its prey.
Her mind blanked again. I need to find… the taste… of the tea… I need to think… But what am I supposed to do?
