Chapter 39
“Why should you be punished?”
Cain’s response was immediate. He pushed Tina from where she had been pressed against him, gripped her shoulders firmly, and held her gaze.
“Why should you, of all people, be punished?”
The eyes that bore down on her were fierce. So cold they felt glacial. His stare locked onto her with an intensity that threatened to devour her whole. Cornered by it, Tina dropped her gaze without thinking.
“I— I’m…”
Tina had endured years of abuse. No matter how intimate the person standing before her, the crushing grip on both her arms and the atmosphere that stole the very air from her lungs were more than enough to trigger an instinctive dread.
“I…”
In the end, Tina’s hands dropped, trembling. Large tears gathered in her gray eyes, and her oxygen-starved lungs could produce nothing but hiccupping sounds instead of words.
“Haah.”
Cain was not the sort of man who could press forward in the face of Tina’s tears. He let out a slow sigh and released the hands gripping her shoulders.
“I’ve frightened you.”
Instead, he lowered himself to meet her eye level. The space between them narrowed, and with it, the rigid tension in the air softened.
“……”
Cain waited patiently until Tina could draw an even breath again. By the time she tentatively raised her head, those familiar red eyes, tinged with tenderness as always, were watching her.
“I didn’t mean to frighten you.”
His gentle tone dissolved the last of Tina’s rigidity, and now a few blinks were all it took to clear her blurred vision.
“Hm.”
Then Cain drew closer and licked the tears from her face. The sensation was familiar and warm, and the heartbeat that had been hammering in her ears gradually settled back into its proper rhythm.
“My lady.”
“…Yes.”
When their gazes met fully, Cain pressed brief, chaste kisses to Tina’s eyelids, devoid of any carnal intent, and continued.
“Tell me what you want. You don’t need to be punished. If there’s something you want from me, just say it. Whatever it may be, I’ll give it to you.”
The gaze they exchanged at close range was utterly sincere, not a single trace of deception.
“I want… I want you to make it so I can’t think at all.”
Within that gaze, Tina found she could draw out every word buried inside her. If it was this man, he would never turn her away. Buoyed by that conviction, Tina gripped Cain’s thick arm with resolve.
“Make it so I can’t remember anything. So the only thing left in my head is you.”
Now, the eyes that looked up at him held not a single tremor.
“If that’s what you wish, I’ll gladly do it.”
Cain, as always, granted her request. In the next instant he closed the distance and pressed his lips against her soft, reddened ones. His tongue grazed gently past her teeth, tickled the roof of her mouth, then drew her tongue up in a firm, sucking pull.
“Mmnh.”
A contented sigh slipped between Tina’s lips of its own accord. Every exchange with Cain was something new. Above all, the heavy weight of him pressing insistently against her lower belly was a marvel.
Tina had been clumsily chasing his thick tongue with her own when that persistent rubbing against her stomach drew her gaze downward, almost involuntarily. There, straining fiercely against the fabric of his trousers, was the unmistakable evidence of his arousal.
“Hh… You always do this to me, my lady.”
Tina kept stealing glances downward, amazed by the swollen member. Cain reached down, layering his large hand over hers and guiding her fingers to press against the swollen center.
“…Oh.”
A shamelessly rigid shape met her palm through the fabric, and Tina let out a small, startled sound.
The realization that she had done this to Cain, that she had driven him to such a state, fascinated her.
“Ha.”
When curiosity emboldened Tina to press her fingers harder against the fabric, a strangled groan tore from Cain’s lips at once.
“My lady.”
As the pressure of her hand intensified, Cain gently peeled Tina’s fingers away.
“I’ll make sure you can’t think of a single thing.”
Then he brushed the fallen hair from Tina’s face and spoke softly.
It wasn’t long before Tina found herself kneeling, seated before Cain’s towering arousal. The face she turned upward was guileless and innocent.
“If it’s too much, you don’t have to. As I said, I only want to give you what you want.”
Cain stroked Tina’s hair tenderly as she blinked up at him. His touch was so warm that Tina’s eyes fluttered closed and open again without her meaning to.
Before her was a pillar of flesh, grotesquely veined. From the swollen, rounded head to the sac below, it was flushed entirely to a dark, angry red. At the very tip, a thin, clear fluid dripped in a continuous stream, as though it were salivating.
