Master is acting strange.

‘Maybe the fairy revealed what I was thinking. Why does stuff like this always happen to me?’
A luck potion that had absorbed her own desire, and now a fairy that could read thoughts. Even the effect of Ikelid’s truth serum had worn off only a few days ago. She hadn’t even had time to enjoy her freedom before something embarrassing happened again.
Eki clutched her head and trembled, then quietly approached Cassius. Before she could even open her mouth, he spoke in a blunt voice.
“What.”
Eki hesitated before asking,
“Um, you know. What the fairy said yesterday.”
Cassius’s shoulders twitched as he checked the flask. He turned to her with his brows pulled tight.
“The fairy… why?”
“Um, that, are you feeling upset because of it? If you’re worried about it, I just wanted to tell you there’s really no need to…”
Clatter. Cassius stumbled back and the desk shook.
“Ah! Master!”
Eki quickly reached out to steady the desk. But she hadn’t accounted for Cassius’s position, so she ended up trapping him between her arms as she held the desk. Eki froze stiff and looked up at him. Cassius also stared down at her with wide eyes. If she leaned forward just a little more, she felt like she could fall right into his broad chest.
Eki’s throat bobbed a few times. Instead of throwing herself against her master’s chest, she turned her head with an awkward smile.
“This is because of the luck potion, right?”
“…Seems so.”
The two stepped back from each other awkwardly. For a very brief moment, Cassius’s face was flushed just like before.
‘Good. So he doesn’t hate me.’
Right as Eki felt relieved, Cassius bit down on his lips and spoke in a heated voice.
“It’s not me. You’re the one who should be more worried.”
“…Pardon?”
“Anyway, focus on potion crafting for the time being. The final inspection day is still ahead.”
“What?”
“Until then, refrain from touching bodies.”
“Huh? Wait, what does that even mean?”
Don’t touch her body? Or did he mean not to touch him? His enormous and terrifying and indecent dragon g******s?
She wasn’t asking for anything like that. Eki still wanted to mess with Cassius right this moment.
But Cassius said something incomprehensible and then started walking out of the laboratory. Eki hurriedly grabbed his wrist. The moment her hand touched him, Cassius flinched as if scalded and gently pushed her away without hurting her.
“Eki, don’t do this.”

Eki was flustered, but she asked calmly,
“Master, what exactly are you worried about right now?”
“…The fairy said it, didn’t it. That I, damn it.”
Cassius rubbed his heated, reddened face over and over with his large hand, then stared off at nothing as he continued speaking.

Cassius’s shoulders jerked upward. His pupils stretched into long vertical slits and he immediately turned his back to Eki.
“Don’t tell me that’s what you meant?”
“Uh… yes…”
