Kadan swatted his father’s hand away and glared at him. At that moment, a man with his black hair tied halfway entered the audience chamber.

『Ah, so Kurua’s fallen for a woman and turned into a fool, Father?.』

He walked up to where Luna was standing and bent down to stare directly at her face. He was more burly than Kadan, yet his features were strangely similar. Luna recognized him instantly—this man was certainly Kadan’s older brother.

『You’re small. Too small.』

Kadan’s brother, Gar, examined Luna from head to toe, muttering once again that she was too small. He remained bent over, rolling his eyes as he glanced at Kadan.

『You’re f*****g such a small woman every night? Don’t you have any shame?』

『Get lost, brother.』

Kadan growled, stepping in front of Luna to block Gar’s view. The Inut people only have one mate in their lifetime. To claim that mate, they would fight to the death with another man if necessary.

And Gar, Kadan’s older brother, had not yet found his mate.

It was only natural for Kadan to be cautious of Gar. In his eyes, Luna was undeniably beautiful, pure, and noble—a woman any man would desire.

Luna’s cheeks reddened, and Gar’s eyes widened as he traced a line with his gaze. “So cute,” he murmured.

Kadan’s posture grew tense as his body seemed to swell with anger. His fist clenched, veins bulging on the back of his hand, clearly showing his anger. No matter how much they were brothers, if Gar coveted his female, Kadan would have no qualms about tearing him apart.

『You crazy bastard. Do you still want to live? Are you trying to kill this brother?』

『If necessary.』

『Use your head, little brother. The more you react like this, the more curious the other person will get.』

Gar half-heartedly advised Kadan to back down, but Kadan’s energy remained fierce.

After reuniting with Luna, Kadan’s primary focus had been on getting her pregnant. It wasn’t entirely inaccurate to think that way. As he imagined Luna’s flat belly swelling into a mountain, his rising anger quickly subsided.

Meanwhile, Gar showed the Emperor his wrist, still red from Kadan’s handprint, and exaggerated his pain.

Gar called the woman Washud as he waved at her. Washud strode in, glancing at Kadan and Luna as she passed by, before greeting the Emperor.

『It’s fine, Washud. Now that you’re here, why don’t you introduce yourself to Kadan’s mate as well?』

『Mate? Has it already been decided?』

Washud turned her head to gaze at Luna. Her eyes flickered.

Luna immediately understood that this woman had feelings for Kadan. Had she been close with him in the Empire? When Luna looked up at Kadan, he introduced Washud to her.
