Chapter 67
Luna tried to turn away from Kadan’s gaze, but his grip on her chin was iron.
“L-let go—ah!—can’t look at you—haah!—too embarrassed—!”
Kadan only thrust faster despite Luna’s request. He pulled her closer until their breaths mingled. Sweat rolled down his forehead and clung to the bridge of his nose before dripping onto Luna’s flushed cheeks.
“Don’t ask me to let go. I won’t let go of anything.”
His throbbing length withdrew to the tip before slamming back in while looking down at Luna. Her tear-brimmed eyes were staring at him desperately.
“My Luna.”
“Ah! Hah—! Ah—!”
“You’re everything to me.”
You need to understand this. His mouth crashed over Luna’s.His thick tongue claiming every inch of her parted lips. He coiled around her tongue like a serpent and sucked hard. Every drop of her fluids were sweeter than honey.
“Ngh!”
As Kadan’s muscles bulged, he paused. Crushing her against him, he came. Splash. Splash. Every time his scalding seed against her womb, an unparalleled fullness raced up Luna’s spine and up her head.
Luna collapsed like a wrung-out rag feeling his s***n inside her. Tears were streaming—not from sorrow. Kadan wiped them away while looking at her. His member was still inside her.
“Kadan… no more…”
I can’t… no further… Luna begged with a hoarse voice before darkness took her.
“You seem to have gained some weight, but your stamina’s still lacking.”
He kissed her slack lips, the tip of her nose, her forehead—then her round shoulder. As he sank his teeth into the cursed scar the king had left on her shoulder, Luna twitched in her sleep with a faint whimper.
Kadan studied his handiwork on Luna’s shoulder. The imprint of his teeth over the scar soothed him a bit. But he was worried. He must have bitten too hard? His fingers brushed the skin, checking for blood.
‘I’m a damned monster.’
This fragile woman—and yet he kept pushing her to the brink.
Kadan fetched warm water and a soft cloth and meticulously cleaned Luna’s body. Every time he checked the red mark on her pale skin made his c**k twitch again. Damn it. Dropping the cloth, he gripped himself instead. His lips kissed the bite mark once more as his hand stroked himself once more.

Kadan woke up early in the morning and checked on Luna, who was lying beside him. Listening to her soft, adorable breaths, he kissed her forehead and left the room. Outside, his aide, Dwabo, was yawning and waiting.
『Any updates?』
Kadan asked as he glanced at the documents Dwabo handed him.
『It seems a group of hidden rebels followed Washud to the capital. Washud tried to handle it, but apparently, they slipped through.』
『Any chance Washud is involved with the rebels?』
Kadan handed the bundle of documents back to Dwabo.
『Your Highness, are you suspecting Washud? She’s the leader of the Valkyries! Not to mention, she’s your childhood fiance.』
『Stop with the fiancée talk. People might get the wrong idea.』
『Wrong idea? Before Your Highness went missing, everyone thought Washud would be your mate.』
Kadan furrowed his brow at the remark. He had never once felt romantic interest toward Washud, so why did everyone seem to have these misguided ideas?
『I don’t understand.』
『Well, Your Highness, you’ve never shown interest in women. So, everyone assumed you’d marry the fiancée that was already decided for you.』
『Haa.』
Kadan rolled his eyes, visibly tired.
Just then, he bumped into his older brother, Gar, outside the office. Gar was strapping his sword to his waist and greeted Kadan with a nod.
『Good morning, little brother.』
『Did you sleep well?』
『No. The palace’s atmosphere must be off; I’ve felt drained since morning.』
『Even someone with no energy is grabbing a sword so early?』
『After hearing Washud yesterday, it sounds like an attack is coming.』
『I’ll take care of that.』
『Yes, yes, I know. It will be your kingdom soon, so you should lead by example, I understand.』
『Then why are you arming yourself, brother?』
『You’re going to deal with the rebels, so someone needs to protect your mate, don’t you think?
』
Gar thought of Luna—small and fragile, like a white rabbit. She seemed so delicate that even a breeze from the rebels could blow her away.
『…Brother, you’re serious?』
『Of course. Did you forget the Inut tradition?』
At Gar’s words, Kadan recalled an old custom he had forgotten.
In Inut culture, when a brother dies, his widow is taken in by another brother.
