Chapter 12.2
As Rihan tilted his head in confusion, the image of Runi smiling shyly while holding a bouquet came to mind, making him grin broadly.
‘Soon, Runi and I will…’
Imagining Runi standing beside him in a pure white wedding dress, Rihan hugged himself and trembled.
“What are you doing?”
“…!”
Rihan froze as he met Lucael’s disgusted expression—the emperor had risen without him noticing.
“Control your urges.”
“Urges?! What do you mean!”
“Shut up.”
“Yes.”
Seated at his desk, Lucael tapped his index finger on the surface.
‘Urges? Urges, huh.’
The corner of his mouth lifted in a way that appeared almost sinister.

Knock knock.
“Your Majesty the Empress.”
“Come in.”
Elena, sitting on the bed, waved lightly to Runi as she opened the door and entered.
“Did you have a good time?”
“Yes! Come here, Runi!”
As Runi approached, Elena excitedly recounted everything she had seen today.
“A meadow turned golden… I’d like to see that too.”
“I’ll speak to His Majesty and make sure you can see it next time.”
“Yes! Oh! That’s a rabbit doll, isn’t it?”
Elena simply nodded with a bright smile as Runi pointed to the doll placed at her bedside.
“Was that a gift from His Majesty?”
“Yes! Isn’t it adorable?”
“It certainly is. Oh! Your Majesty! Do you know what I just heard?”
“Hmm? What?”
“Well! They say His Majesty the Emperor has a twin brother!”
“?!”
Surprised by this unexpected information, Elena asked several times to make sure she hadn’t misheard, but Runi’s answer remained the same.
“It’s true, I tell you! I overheard the maids gossiping about it!”
“Hmm… His Majesty never mentioned having any siblings.”
“He might be deliberately hiding it.”
“Why? They’re family, aren’t they?”
“You had good relationships with your siblings, Your Majesty. I’ve heard that among carnivorous therianthropes, where survival of the fittest is strong, relationships between siblings—and even between parents and children—aren’t very good.”
Elena was quite shocked by Runi’s words. Even with the principle of survival of the fittest, did they really need to treat blood relatives that way?
“Anyway, it seems His Majesty’s twin brother is in very poor health.”
“I see.”
“Oh, have I said something I shouldn’t have?”
“No, it’s fine.”
“And, also…”
Seeing that Runi seemed to have more to say, Elena smiled and encouraged her to continue.
“About the Prime Minister…”
Elena was astonished to hear that during her brief absence, Runi had received a confession from the wolf prime minister she had been so afraid of, and had even had tea with him.
“Runi, you… you were so afraid of him.”
“I-I’m still scared. But that… Rihan seems somehow different.”
“Rihan?”
“Oh, no! The Prime Minister! The Prime Minister!”
Elena smiled as she watched Runi’s face turn red.
‘I might hear some good news soon.’

Lucael found it frustrating that Elena seemed to have something to tell him but wouldn’t speak up, despite his assurances during dinner and their walk in the garden.
‘I could ask that woman, Runi.’
Lucael smirked as he observed Elena sitting beside him in her nightgown.
‘Delicious scent.’
The fragrance emanating from Elena’s freshly bathed body was enough to excite Lucael instantly.
“Eli, you must be tired from all our activities today. Shall we go to sleep now?”
“Yes.”
After helping Elena into bed, Lucael lay down beside her at an angle and pulled the blanket up to her chest.
“Sweet dreams.”
“You too, Lu.”
Lucael kissed the forehead of the smiling Elena and waited for her to fall asleep quickly.
“Elena.”
“……”
“Eli.”
After shaking her shoulder and whispering in her ear, Lucael confirmed she was completely asleep and licked his lips.
“Well then, shall we taste again today?”
Mounting the defenseless Elena, Lucael reached out boldly, drawing on yesterday’s experience.
“Mmm! Hnn. Mmph!”
As Elena’s body squirmed and made pleasant sounds, Lucael was busy with her lower region, which had already become wet. He buried his face there and was drinking deeply when it happened.
“Y-Your Majesty?!”
“!”
A very shocked voice pierced Lucael’s ears.
“Your Majesty, what are you…”
‘Ah, I’ve been caught.’
