Chapter 10
“I can’t. Tomorrow isn’t a day off. Today isn’t either!”
Forget the dorm’s curfew—she had morning lectures, and more than anything, she refused to spend the next day limping around in exhaustion. Sure, she could heal herself with magic, but only an idiot would waste energy recovering from a night in bed.
“Do you really think I don’t know that?”
“If you know, then why are you doing this?!”
“What exactly am I doing?”
“Acting like an animal! I seriously have to go back tonight, okay?!”
The way she was talking now was completely different from how reserved she’d been all day, making Valen laugh, the sound rumbling deep in his throat. By the time he tossed his shirt aside, she was already blushing furiously, her eyes—which had been daringly defiant just moments ago—now downcast as if she hadn’t been the one provoking him. Her adorable antics only made him laugh harder. But when he sat on the edge of the bed to remove her shoes, not even a trace of a smile remained. His gaze cooled briefly as he glanced at the worn-out shoes now discarded on the floor, but as his thumb brushed over the delicate curve of her ankle, his lips curled again.
“Then put in some effort, Rozi.”
What kind of effort?!
Roseline blinked at him, stunned. She was so flustered she didn’t even register the rare nickname slipping from his lips.
“You’ll have to cooperate if you want me to even consider letting you go.”
She hadn’t said a word, but he answered as if he’d read her mind. Then, with a light tug on the ankle of the leg stretched toward the headboard, he slid between her parted thighs.
“Honestly, the way things are now? A few days might not even be enough.”
“A few days…?”
“Yeah, a few days.”
“…Did you take some kind of elixir?”
“Wouldn’t it be the opposite?”
“……”
“I’ve been starving too long.”
While answering her question dutifully, his long fingers undid the brooch fastening her cape. Soon, the ribbon knot followed, tossed carelessly onto the pillow before he peeled the cape away. Roseline grabbed his wrist in a panic.
“Hands later. You need to check something too.”
“Check what?”
“My chastity.”
It was such an absurd statement that Roseline furrowed her brows. Pushing her small hand aside, he hiked up her skirt and said plainly. I didn’t even touch myself. It’s all yours.
“Hhk—!”
His thick fingers rubbed insistently over the thin linen of her underwear, and Roseline’s hips jerked in response.
“Getting this wet and still pretending you don’t want it.”
When his teasing fingertips pressed down on her most sensitive spot, her toes curled, goosebumps rising as pleasure crackled up from her abdomen.
“Nngh—!”
Roseline muffled a moan against the back of her hand, but the fingers between her legs only moved faster, rubbing the dampening fabric until it turned sheer. Her eyelids flushed pink, her coral-colored eyes burning even brighter. The peach-blossom strands of her hair fanned across the pillow like petals scattered by the wind—all things Valen adored.
“Damn it.”
Unable to contain his excitement any longer, he yanked down the fastener, and his thick, crimson shaft sprang free. Even gripped in his large hand, its girth was so immense that his fingers couldn’t fully encircle it—more weapon than flesh. The heated length pulsed with prominent veins, the swollen glistening tip already glistening wet as it twitched impatiently.
“Nngh, ahh…”
“Haa…”
He dragged the slick head slowly over her soaked underwear, drawing staggered gasps from her. The thin fabric had long since lost its purpose, clinging obscenely to her folds with every shift, the wet cloth squelching as it molded to her shape. Running his tongue over his lips, he pushed the drenched fabric aside.
A flushed, glistening entrance peeked out, dripping with arousal—a perfect match for the feverish hue of her teary eyes. His handsome features tightened at the lewd sight. With deliberate pressure, he aligned the broad tip against her clenched entrance and pushed.
“D-don’t just—ahh…! Put it in all at—ngh!”
His grip on her hips tightened.
“Haa…”
Sinking into her with one slow, forceful thrust, he tipped his head back, eyes shut. Tendons stood out along his jaw as his Adam’s apple bobbed. When his lashes finally lifted, Roseline filled his steel-blue gaze.
“D-don’t… move yet, ah…!”
No matter how many nights they’d shared, Roseline always struggled with the initial stretch. Tears welled in the corners of her tightly scrunched eyes. As Valen bent to lick them away, the motion only drove him deeper.
“Nngh…!”
Whimpering, Roseline hooked her legs around his waist, pulling him closer—her words shortening, her tone fracturing. A habit she didn’t even realize she had. Noticing it, Valen chuckled darkly, and the buried length inside her twitched, nudging her inner walls.
“Relax, Roseline. You’re clamping down too tight—it’ll hurt.”
