Chapter 256
There was no more conversation. Only the wet, slapping sound of flesh against flesh and the sticky noises from their joining filled the bedroom.
“Haa, feels good.”
“Haht, a little slower, pleea… Ah…!”
“I’m going crazy, Roseline.”
Squelch, thump. Even with the simple, repetitive motion, the massive head stimulated every sensitive part of her inner walls, and the steadily built-up sensation finally burst, bringing a dizzying climax.
“H-heuk…!”
As Roseline, overwhelmed by the intense pleasure, tightly clenched her nether regions, sharp wrinkles formed between Valen’s brows. Grind. Gritting his teeth, he pulled out the pillar he had buried in her deepest place all at once. Then, he stroked the length of his shaft from base to tip. A stream of pale, cloudy seed spilled onto Roseline’s negligee.
“Phew……”
The release lasted a long time. As the hot fluid thoroughly soaked the flimsy fabric, Roseline caught her breath and stared blankly at him. It was unexpected. Recalling their numerous past couplings, it was rare for him to finish outside.
“Why?”
Valen brushed back his sweat-dampened hair and met her eyes.
“You haven’t been taking contraceptive pills.”
He let out a short laugh, as if her thoughts were obvious. Then he naturally slipped his hand between her legs. Roseline’s eyes, which had been pondering the pills, widened dramatically.
What kind of invalid does this?
She scanned him with an astonished gaze. Though gravity had taken its toll due to her lying position, the Empire’s foremost looks hadn’t lost their luster. His deep-set eyes and sharp jawline stood out, creating an enchanting aura. His half-swept-back hair and sweat-slicked, firm muscles added a languid sensuality.
At a glance, she looked more like the invalid. Despite using mana on the way up to the bedroom, she had no energy left to even lift a finger.
“Tired?”
“…Yes.”
“Then use mana.”
She had never heard of using mana for that. Roseline glared at him while panting heavily, and Valen, as if even that gaze was welcome, began stroking his now-larger shaft up and down.
Squelch, schlick. An embarrassing sound spread each time his large hand moved. Since more than half of the fluid coating the dark red pillar was from her, Roseline quietly turned her head away.
“Ah!”
In that instant, Valen hooked Roseline’s knee, plunged his c**k back inside, and covered her lips with his.
“I love you, Rosie.”
The spilled confession mingled with their heated, feverish breaths. Valen swallowed everything—the sweet nectar pooling in her mouth and her scattered moans.
◇◇◇
It was only after the sun had set and the risen moon had begun to tilt that Roseline finally fell into a deep sleep. However, it was five days later when Roseline finally stepped outside the bedroom. Having held back for so long, he ignited too easily, reaching out for her the moment their eyes met. Right after she woke from sleep, while kissing her in the bath, and even during meals—he would clear the table and sit her on his lap. His excuse was that the way she moved her lips while eating was lewd.
Her pale skin was stained in a riot of colors with his marks, and her overworked n*****s ached even without being touched. Seeming quite pleased with this, he eventually stopped even asking her to use her mana. Instead, when she said it was too much, he would pat her back as if granting a favor and let her sleep. Though he would cling to her again the moment she opened her eyes.
“My goodness.”
Roseline glared at him after checking her reflection in the mirror.
They had spent three of the five days like beasts in heat, and the remaining two in deep, recuperative sleep, and now, before she knew it, it was the day the troops were returning from the front. The Academy’s Manifestors were included. When Roseline heard the news this morning, she shot straight out of bed. She refused Valen’s sly offer to help her wash and finished getting ready alone, but the reflection in the mirror made her look like a patient on their deathbed.
“Do you possibly grind your teeth at night?”
Her neck and the shells of her ears were completely red, and her complexion was sallow—a stark contrast to Valen, who looked radiant, as if he had taken a tonic. She had vaguely known the state of her body from seeing it, but she hadn’t realized he had marked even the parts visible to others this thoroughly.
“You look pretty, why?”
Was he blind?
No. He had eyes, but no conscience. She considered saying something but then let it go. If there was one thing she hadn’t known before but knew now, it was that he soothed his anxiety through physical contact. These numerous marks also seemed to stem from that anxiety. Because the day to return to the capital was approaching.
