Chapter 260
After watching Valen work for a while, Roseline looked around the office. The office, which had been utterly devastated the day she returned from meeting Sir Schnitzel, had been perfectly restored. Naturally, the memories of the days they had fought fiercely also surfaced, weighing heavily on her heart.
At that moment, her eyes met Valen’s. She had thought he was focused on the documents while listening to the administrator’s report. But he was staring straight at Roseline, pen in hand. Roseline pointed a finger at the desk, as if to tell him to concentrate. Then, she averted her gaze first. That’s when she spotted the door leading to the study.
Rather than just sitting there until the work was done, it seemed better to go read a book in the study.
‘What now. Where are you trying to go?’
As Roseline quietly rose again, Valen, who had been reviewing documents at his desk, immediately looked up.
‘May I go read a book in the study?’
This time too, Valen nodded reluctantly. Conditions followed: first, keep the door connecting to the office open; second, don’t secretly slip out through the door leading to the hallway.
Roseline pulled a book that caught her eye from the densely packed shelves and sat on the sofa. As she flipped through the pages, she would sometimes feel a gaze and look up, only to meet Valen’s eyes as he leaned against the doorway watching her.
Later, she must have dozed off briefly, for when she opened her eyes to the sound of rain, she was lying with her head pillowed on his firm thigh, covered by his jacket.
Valen, who had offered his leg, was flipping through documents with one hand while gently stroking Roseline’s hair with the other. Roseline blinked her heavy eyelids and looked up at him.
His steep bridge and prominent Adam’s apple gave an impression of strength, while his sharp, clear eyes and delicate jawline harmonized strangely to create an air of nobility.
Even his downturned eyelashes were beautiful. Each time they fluttered elegantly like a bird’s wings, her heart inexplicably fluttered.
‘Are you done looking?’
Their gazes tangled. Without hesitation, Valen cleared away the documents, laid Roseline flat, and pressed his lips to hers. Beyond the sound of the rain, the wet, sticky friction of tongues and saliva spread damply. As the raindrops beating against the window subsided, their breathing grew rougher, and hot breaths tangled and flowed between their lips. Her mind jolted awake.
‘Your Highness, wa— Mmph…!’
I did everything as you wanted, so you should give me a reward.’
‘You already took it all before I came.’
‘I don’t remember that.’
‘……Pardon?’
‘Are you sure you gave it to me?’
The hand that came around to cup her nape was hot. She thought it was incredibly shameless, but the problem was her body, which was gradually heating up, making it hard to push him away. However, if a fire was lit, the probability of it not ending until morning was high. So, Roseline pushed him down and climbed on top.
‘Then, Your Highness, please stay still. I’ll do it.’
Even in the moment when Valen looked up at her with an uncharacteristically dazed expression, her confidence had been overflowing. But imagination and reality were different. A phallus as difficult as a club, which was tough to take even while lying back prettily—it was impossible to take it in this position, and on her own initiative.
“You’re not focusing.”
Valen, keenly noticing Roseline’s waning concentration, gripped her hips and pushed his e******n all the way to the hilt.
“If you’re thinking of something else while chewing on my c**k so deliciously like this, I’ll feel so sad.”
“Wa-, ah, pull, out, slow, ly…!”
“It can’t hurt.”
Roseline groped for and clung to his legs. Tensed strength surged into his firm thighs. The tip, reaching deep inside, also twitched, stimulating her inner flesh.
“It really does. How can it not, ah, hurt. When it’s this, big…?”
“What can we do. I can’t exactly cut off my own d**k and bring it.”
“Shi-, t…”
“If you don’t like it, I’ll stop.”
“……”
“Shall I stop?”
It was a cunning question. As Roseline shook her head slightly, the line of Valen’s mouth loosened languidly.
“Then try moving now.”
Irritated that he kept urging her as if it wasn’t his business, Roseline turned her head away with a sulky huff. Valen, who had slipped his hand under her skirt to caress her smooth skin, met her resentful gaze.
“If it’s hard, I’ll do it.”
As he tilted his head as if to kiss her, Roseline tensed her neck and avoided it. Valen’s brow furrowed.
“Don’t take it off, don’t touch, don’t even kiss. What do you want me to do?”
They were all things Roseline had forbidden. The reason was obvious: if even one of those overlapped, it was clear it wouldn’t end just once.
“If you don’t want to punish me, then move properly. Okay?”
