Linton grinned, the expression all too familiar.
“Adrien, do you like my guiding that much?”
No matter how proud and aloof Adrien Brillante usually was, she was utterly helpless in the throes of an impending overload.
Linton stroked Adrien’s cheek with his free hand. Adrien nuzzled against it for a moment—then suddenly grabbed both of Linton’s cheeks and forced his mouth open.
She kissed him hard, as if she meant to devour him.
“Mmff…! Ack!”
Adrien’s kiss was wild, hungry, and relentless—her tongue plunging so deep Linton could barely breathe. He tried to push her away several times, but it was useless against an esper who’d lost her mind. In desperation, Linton bit down on Adrien’s tongue.
It was only when the taste of blood hit that Adrien finally pulled back, her lips stained red.
“Ha… ha…”
Linton was left gasping for air, his face a little pale.
He knew Adrien could get rough during an overload episode, but never like this. The desperate, almost feral hunger in her eyes was a little frightening, but he had to admit that it excited him, too.
Unconsciously smiling, Linton wiped his mouth and suddenly reached out, slipping his hand into Adrien’s underwear.
“My Addie…”
He murmured as his fingers brushed through the coarse hair and reached her soft folds. As he spread them, he felt the faintest trace of wetness.
Adrien was not the sort of woman who was easily aroused.
“Come over here and get on top of me.”
Linton smiled almost dazedly as he pulled Adrien close, guiding her hips toward him.
* * *
“Ah—!”
The sudden sensation of being penetrated jolted Adrien out of her haze, as if waking from a dream.
Her vision, dark and numb, flashed into harsh clarity. Her stomach was churning, her head throbbed, and there was a hard length thrusting in and out of her body.
“Ahh… Addie…”
Linton’s hands gripped her waist, and his familiar voice snapped everything into place.
Adrien looked back over her shoulder. Linton was lost in ecstasy, pumping into her with rapt.
“It feels so good… so good…”
“Linton.”
“…Addie?”
He finally looked at her, startled, only to meet her usual cold gaze. He beamed, wrapping his arms tightly around her back.
The move only drove him in deeper, making Adrien catch her breath.
“I told you not to overdo it. I was really worried about you.”
Linton murmured, nuzzling her back. Every movement, every point of skin-to-skin contact, sent another wave of guiding energy through her.
It made her sick.
Now that the overload symptoms had faded and the pain had receded, the nausea from their poor compatibility rose again.
Still, Linton had pulled her back from the brink, returned her body to a state where she could even feel this sickness. She was grateful for that.
But she couldn’t endure it any longer.
“Linton, that’s enough.”
“Why?”
“This is plenty. There’s no need to push yourself.”
“What are you talking about? I’m not pushing myself at all.”
Linton started to move his hips again.
He wasn’t as thick as Samuel, but his length was considerable. The tip was pressing in so deep it actually hurt, making Adrien bite her lip.
“I haven’t had enough yet… You haven’t, either, right?”
“Please, just stop…!”
With every thrust, the queasiness only got worse, like her insides were being churned. She really felt like she might throw up.
Clueless, Linton didn’t withdraw; instead, he pulled her down onto her back and, without missing a beat, spread her legs wide and slid back in.
The nausea surged. Adrien forced herself not to vomit.
“Didn’t you hear me say stop, Linton?”
“You’re pretty, even when you’re scowling, Adrien.”
“Ugh! That’s not because I like it—!”
She could have easily tossed someone like Linton aside, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it. Using brute force on a guide in bed was a line no esper should ever cross.
But she was reaching her absolute limit.
Her churning stomach felt like a boat in a storm. When the acid finally rose past the point of no return, Adrien shoved Linton aside and leapt from the bed.
“Urk! Ugh—!”
“Adrien!”
She grabbed the nearest thing—a trash can—and retched hard.
She didn’t hear a word from Linton as he scrambled off the bed after her.
But it didn’t matter. Maybe her guiding was topped off, but her insides felt completely wrecked.
After she’d finished vomiting everything she had, Adrien wiped her mouth and finally turned around.
