Chapter 186
His rough fingertips touched her soft inner walls, while his thumb pressed insistently against her swollen c**t. Then, just as her mind was beginning to haze over from the overwhelming sensations, his lips closed over the shell of her ear.
A hot, wet tongue slipped inside.
Her senses were flooded, her body was burning with the familiar touch.
A strange unease coiled inside her.
Eren’s eyes were cold. The same way they had been back when he thought she was the kind of woman who’d accept any man.
“N-no one else has touched me. Not me, not anyone else…!”
His sharp gaze darkened.
His fingers, still buried inside her, felt like they were stabbing her with tiny needles every time he thrust.
“Ahh—ahh! It hurts… I-it hurts…!”
Even though her liquid was pooling onto his hand, she groaned. Eren finally slowed down.
His expression cooled.
And somehow, seeing that look on his face made Macy’s chest tighten as if she was about to cry.
If she knew what she did wrong, she could at least apologize… But she doesn’t even understand why he’s acting like this.
“Can you… kiss me?”
So she pleaded for comfort.
She was desperate for him to stop looking at her like that. To hold her affectionately the way he usually did.
Eren remained silent as he stared at her coldly. As he withdrew his fingers from inside her, his lips met hers.
He gently licked her trembling lips, easing the anxious knot in her chest.
Macy wrapped her arms around his neck and clung to him. Even while they were immersed in their kiss, Eren kept his eyes open at Macy.

After kissing Macy in the carriage, Eren told her to go back. He spoke as though he had lost interest after getting her worked up.
“Stay quiet in the cabin for now.”
“What?”
“It’ll take a while to figure things out.”
“Figure out what…?”
The conversation they’d had earlier before she got out came to her mind. She had asked what he meant by figuring things out,’ but Eren just waved her off as if telling her to leave.
‘He definitely knows something.’
Macy grew anxious. It seemed like Eren was about to push her away and build an impenetrable wall between them, making it impossible for her to approach him again.
She agonized over whether to tell the truth. She thought if she spoke up sooner, he might not get as angry.
But then again, what had she really done wrong? She hadn’t done anything to make Eren worry. So why was she so filled with dread?
She realized it was wrong to go ahead with things without telling him. But if she told him… her life…..
If things keep going like this, people might only remember her as Yannick’s imitator younger sister. Maybe the paintings she creates in the future will be forever tainted by that name and never get the recognition they deserve.
Macy hated that idea. She wanted to be a more famous artist than Yannick.
But she couldn’t escape Eren. She had to remember that truth in every moment of her life. Whenever she faced opportunities in the future, Eren had to be considered. He was an inseparable part of Macy’s identity.
Destiny that was granted by the heavens, was something no one could defy.
‘Alright, I’ll finish the painting first, and before sending it to the Ciseina royal palace, I’ll tell him.’
If he refuses, she could simply not send it. She thought it would be easier to get his approval first.
So Macy revised her plan to tell him after being confirmed as the court painter. She would speak once the painting was complete.
After making that decision, she barely slept and immersed herself in her work. As a result, she finished the painting in half the time she had originally estimated.
“Is today the last day?”
“Yes.”
Macy got into the carriage to get the final confirmation from Prince Benedict. Morgan seemed more worried than she had expected, as he looked relieved now.
She had planned to tell him the truth the next day, when Eren would come for the Name treatment.
“Mm? He’s not here?”
When the carriage door opened, it was empty. It was usually Prince Benedict who arrived earlier than Macy and waited for her.
Macy tilted her head in confusion, then decided to wait.
Some time passed.
Her eyelids grew heavy after several sleepless nights, and eventually, she fell asleep, holding the painting in her arms.

“This afternoon, Miss Macy went out.”
“Where to?”
“135 Piltons Street. She got in the black carriage.”
“I told her not to go out for a while, but she went anyway… tch.”
