Chapter 210
Eren repeatedly placed pieces of peach into her mouth, forcing her to accept them.
As Macy grew more subdued, his kisses softened. He licked her trembling lips and carefully grazed his teeth.
Each time she swallowed the peach, Eren stroked her head. When the plate was empty, the sweet kisses disguised as torture ended.
Macy didn’t want to show him her tears anymore, but her face was already drenched in them.
It was a complete defeat.
“Don’t touch me!”
Just as Eren reached to touch her face again, Macy warned sharply.
“Please… don’t touch me like that…”
The sweeter and gentler he was, the more Macy feared what might be hidden behind it.
Yes, Macy was afraid of Eren. His tenderness and love now felt chilling and terrifying.
Even she was horrified as she knew his warmth. She couldn’t fully accept the affection she had longed for so much.
“Sniff… sob… sniff…”
Macy’s suppressed sorrow finally broke free. Eren stayed silently by her side until she cried herself out.
His blue eyes settled calmly. The gaze as he lay there was immeasurably deep.
Do you still love me?
Do you hate me now too?
Do you truly see me only as a tool?
Did you get hurt too?
Do you think we can go back to how things were before?
Countless questions surfaced, but no one spoke them aloud. The quiet silence was their only peace now.

The doctor who came every morning for check-ups became the link between Dia and Macy, sending brief notes about the situation outside and plans on how to rescue her.
Through this, a somewhat shocking fact was revealed.
‘My name is on the wanted list as the arsonist…’
It was bitter, but not important. Macy wouldn’t live long if she left Eren anyway.
If she went out, it would be with the resolve to face death. So this escape was not for her survival but to protect those around her.
Macy immediately burned the note that accused her of arson in the fireplace. The small paper vanished without a trace.

“Open your mouth.”
Since that day, Eren frequently fed Macy by mouth as if he had gotten used to it.
Mostly sweet fruits, and on mornings when Macy retched, he would come at night with peaches to feed her.
If she refused even the peach, he would make bets.
“If you finish a whole plate, I’ll unlock your shackles.”
“…Really?”
“Yeah.”
Though she had little appetite, it was an enticing offer. Those shackles were the biggest obstacle to leaving here.
“Why are you suddenly so concerned about feeding me?”
Even at the cabin, he didn’t like it when Macy skipped meals or got distracted during work, but this eagerness to feed her three times a day was new.
Her curiosity about why he was so obsessed with feeding her grew beyond restraint.
“I don’t like a body that’s too thin. It only hurts when I f**k you.”
“…”
Hearing that, Macy immediately regretted asking. At the same time, she felt relieved knowing it wasn’t some act done out of genuine care for her body.
His love was more terrifying than his violence.
So Macy fully regained a room of freedom. No longer did she have to drag heavy shackles around.
The day she first took off the shackles, her body felt as light as if she could fly. She could even wear the thin nightgown, and had art supplies to pass the time.
Though she still didn’t want to touch the art supplies and left them untouched.
“If I finish all this, please bring me a desk clock.”
Macy began requesting small items from Eren, using the excuse that she didn’t want to eat but needed these things.
Books, a clock, a pen to write with—the things she asked for were trivial and insignificant.
