Macy stared at him for a moment, then grabbed his wrist and pulled him.
“Let’s do it together! It’ll be fun!”
“No. Leave me alone.”
“If you just sit still like that, you’ll catch a cold! Get up already. It’s easy—just roll it like I do.”
“I said no!”
The boy got up reluctantly but swatted Macy’s hand away fiercely. Macy flailed her arms and fell hard on the ground.
The snowball Macy had carefully rolled about her body’s size split in two.
“Ahh, what do I do now?”
“I told you no. Who plays with kids’ stuff like this anyway?”
Eren was a little embarrassed, then turned his head as if trying to ignore the situation.
“I can’t do this kind of thing. Like normal kids who happily build snowmen or sled when it snows.”
Eren’s face gradually twisted.

“E…ren.”
“Wow! That’s the same as the letters on my body! What’s your last name?”
“…Wood.”
“Even the last name’s the same!”
Macy was amazed when she heard the name Eren reluctantly gave.
“It must be fate!”

Even though they confessed their love every day without fail, why did her heart tremble like this? Something about Eren felt different.
This calm smile was definitely different…
“Thank you for being by my side. And please stay by my side from now on.”
“You’ve acted like you didn’t care if I met other men. Do you know how upset that made me?”

“You’re already bold enough.”
Soft laughter echoed as the gentle breeze wrapped around them warmly.

A warm glow spread across Eren’s face as he held the woman who felt like a divine blessing.
