Suhyeon was the one taken aback by his words, which he delivered without changing his expression.

Frowning, she glanced at the screen.

Narrowing her eyes at the name displayed on her phone, she pressed the answer button.
“Hello, Director Han.”
As soon as she picked up, the director’s voice came through.
– *We’re going on a business trip with Director Do Jeonghan. Seol, I need you to be ready.*
Suhyeon’s eyes widened in surprise.
“…What? A business trip?”
– *It was scheduled at the last minute, so I hope you understand. You’ll receive a call from Director Do Jeonghan shortly.*
“Wait a second! Director…”
Before she could finish her sentence, the call ended, and her phone screen displayed the call ended notification.

“Then you should listen to me, Seol Suhyeon.”

Startled, Suhyeon stepped back. Jeonghan closed the distance further and stood tall in front of her.

From this close distance, he looked directly down at her.
“If you want to cry and regret thinking this is better now.”
