“Just a moment… Ah.”

Suhyeon’s eyes widened as she checked her phone screen.

“What is it?”

Jeonghan asked curiously. Suhyeon looked at the screen for a moment before letting out a small laugh.

“She just arrived and seems to have plenty of energy.”

“Hm?”

One of Jeonghan’s eyebrows arched upward. Suhyeon spoke with a gentle smile.

“It’s Bora. She’s already checked in, changed into her swimsuit, and rushed to the pool. She sent a photo.”

“Ah, I see.”

Finally understanding why Suhyeon had laughed, Jeonghan also let out a soft chuckle.

Suhyeon peered more closely at the screen.

“As for Hyunwoo… Well, he looks like he was dragged along by Bora… Oh!”

Jeonghan suddenly swept Suhyeon up into his arms and strode inside.

“Jeonghan?”

Suhyeon’s eyes grew round as she found herself in his embrace.

Past the long corridor-style entrance, a vast space opened before them. True to its reputation as the resort’s most famous suite, three walls were made of glass, offering a panoramic view of the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Before she could marvel at the spectacular view, Jeonghan laid her down on the bed.

Whoosh!

“…Ah!”

Suhyeon let out a startled gasp as she sank into the plush mattress.

Her field of vision was filled entirely with Jeonghan.

She found herself gazing up, mesmerized, at his sculptured face looking down at her with eyes clouded by familiar heat.

Jeonghan trapped her between his arms, caging her in as he looked down.

His face slowly tilted downward.

“Now you need to forget about everyone else and focus only on me.”

His low voice, tinged with possessiveness, tickled Suhyeon’s ears.

Jeonghan maintained intense eye contact as he lowered his head further.

“I’ve been waiting only for this moment.”

“…Mm…”

Suhyeon flinched slightly when Jeonghan gently bit her lower lip with his hot mouth.

After giving it a light suck, he released her lip and met her gaze from up close.

His smoldering eyes fixed on her moistened lips.

Hah…

A heated breath escaped through Suhyeon’s parted lips as she remained captive to his desire-filled gaze.

Her own eyes had grown hazy with heat.

“Like that time…”

Suhyeon spoke, releasing heated breaths.

“Like we did on the beach here…”

She swallowed hard while staring at him with her flushed face.

Her heart began to race as she recalled being passionately embraced by him on the empty beach.

The intoxicating sensation of having her entire body conquered by him on the white sand came flooding back.

Jeonghan’s burning gaze was making her body even hotter with excitement.

Looking at him through heat-dampened eyes, Suhyeon whispered.

“Make me forget everything else. Fill me… with only thoughts of you.”

Jeonghan’s eyebrow twitched at Suhyeon’s provocative words.

After staring at her as if frozen for a moment, he ran his large hand over his face.

“…Ha.”

After letting out a short, hollow laugh and lowering his hand, his gaze transformed. His darkened eyes, almost frighteningly so, made Suhyeon’s heart pound violently.

Jeonghan roughly captured Suhyeon’s lips.

“Mmph…!”

His tongue invaded her mouth instantly, coiling around her fiercely.

With this animalistic kiss, Jeonghan gave his answer.

The gentle touch stroking her hair made Suhyeon slowly open her eyes.

A deep blue sky, still holding traces of sunset’s warmth, filled her vision.

“Awake?”

Jeonghan murmured softly as he stroked her hair, pressing his lips against her bare shoulder.

Squirming at the sensation of his lips on her bare shoulder, Suhyeon exhaled softly and asked,

“Is it evening already…?”

“Yeah.”

The lips that had touched her shoulder moved up to her cheek, making fleeting contact with her soft skin.

“You must be hungry… You should have woken me.”

Suhyeon said, turning her still-drowsy eyes toward him. After all, they hadn’t had a proper meal today.

Jeonghan ran his large hand through his own sexily disheveled hair and chuckled deeply.

“I do have at least some conscience.”

He couldn’t bring himself to be so heartless after depleting her energy in bed for several hours right after arrival.

Suhyeon laughed silently at his words. Jeonghan briefly kissed her curved lips and asked,

“Anything specific you want to eat?”

As she became more awake, Suhyeon felt increasingly hungry. It felt strange to be this hungry, as she usually didn’t experience such strong hunger.

“Anything is fine. Whatever comes quickest.”

Jeonghan smiled and slowly stroked her hair.

“Seems I really did wear you out properly. Then I’ll order something suitable – shall we eat first?”

“Yes, that sounds good.”

Suhyeon smiled brightly.

As they were finishing their meal, Jeonghan asked Suhyeon what she wanted to do.

Bringing a cherry to her lips, Suhyeon appeared to contemplate for a moment.

“Well… could we use the infinity pool?”

As Suhyeon recalled what Manager Joo had mentioned earlier, Jeonghan reached out toward her lips.

“Won’t you be tired?”

Ah.

Jeonghan picked up a small bread crumb from Suhyeon’s lips and put it in his own mouth.

…I must have eaten too hastily.

Rolling her eyes slightly in embarrassment, Suhyeon composed herself and said,

“No, I’ll be fine.”

“Then let’s do that.”

After readily agreeing, Jeonghan checked his wristwatch and called Manager Joo.

Manager Joo said he would have everything prepared for immediate use and reported back five minutes later that they could go up now.

The two of them, wearing robes over their swimsuits, left the room and boarded the private elevator.

Although Suhyeon felt slightly awkward wearing only a shower robe over her swimsuit in the elevator, Jeonghan seemed naturally at ease.

As Suhyeon was watching him and brushing her hair back, lowering her gaze, she heard his voice.

“You must like swimming pools.”

Suhyeon looked up. He had pressed the floor number and shifted his gaze to her.

His lips curved up in a slight smirk.

“You had that sparkle in your eyes about the pool during our last trip too.”

Ah, he remembers the Maldives.

Suhyeon smiled softly, recalling how excited she’d been buying a swimsuit for their first pool visit together back then.

“Yes, I really do like them.”

“I’ll have to remember that.”

Curling his lips up, Jeonghan bent down to place an affectionate kiss on the crown of her head. Then, while gently stroking her hair, he placed another kiss on her forehead.

Before his lips could reach hers, the elevator doors opened again.

The VIP section of the infinity pool had its own separate area and entrance from the regular pool, allowing them to enter without worrying about running into others.

“Ah…”

Suhyeon let out an involuntary gasp at the sight before her.

The infinity pool stretched out as if merging with the night sea in the distance. The overall atmosphere was both luxurious and elegant.

While noisy chatter could be heard faintly from the opposite side, this area remained relatively quiet. Soft music played as gentle lighting illuminated the water’s surface, making it sparkle as if reflecting moonlight.

Finger foods and cocktails were arranged on tables next to the beach chairs.

Jeonghan casually removed his robe and draped it over a beach chair. Suhyeon also took off her robe and set it down, then entered the pool with Jeonghan in their swimwear.

The lukewarm water rippled around their bodies.

“Ah, this feels nice…”

At Suhyeon’s unconscious words, Jeonghan smiled with a slight wrinkle in his handsome forehead.

He took her hand.

“Come this way.”

Jeonghan led her through the pool toward the railing. As they walked toward the open wall that seemed to merge with the ocean, the sea appeared to draw closer.

“The view from here is quite spectacular.”

Jeonghan helped Suhyeon hold onto the railing at the building’s edge.

Wow…

Suhyeon gasped again. The beautiful island’s night view spread out before them in its entirety.
