Chapter 12
Chapter 12
Their hot breaths tangled together in a daze. Lukenian wrapped her hand around his length and pulled it free. Holding the hot, thick weight of it, she thought the heat rising from above her ears might actually burn her. It should have been obvious, and yet she still couldn’t quite believe he was this aroused.
Even then, the fingers exploring inside her never stopped. She was so wet that soft, slick sounds filled the air.
“I said… I can’t…”
Larissa begged him again. She didn’t want to come like this. For the first time, a faint crease appeared between Lukenian’s brows. His fingers reached deeper, searching, and then he whispered like a sigh.
“Let’s do that.”
Let’s do that? What was that supposed to mean? Even with her brain reduced to mush, Larissa couldn’t hide her disbelief. He said it like he was conceding a point in a research meeting.
His fingers slipped out of her, and her legs were spread wider. He brought what she was holding in her hand to her entrance. The way he did it, it looked like she’d guided him there herself. Truthfully, if she’d had the presence of mind, she would have done exactly that. Gladly.
“Larissa.”
“Nn, nngh.”
Larissa took hold of him herself and parted her slick folds. He was too thick to enter easily. The blunt tip rubbed against her entrance again and again. Impatient with the slipping and sliding, she made a pleading sound and pulled him closer.
“Relax.”
Lukenian’s voice came out almost like a growl. She tried, but she couldn’t relax the muscles below that kept clenching on their own. In the end, Lukenian gripped her waist and pushed in with force.
“Ah, ngh…!”
Pain surged from her stretched entrance. Larissa clutched his shoulders and curled up, her body wound tight with tension. Lukenian stroked her sides and hips gently, like he was soothing her. But he didn’t stop pushing in.
She didn’t want him to. He’d pushed about halfway in when he let out a ragged breath and lowered his head. He’d realized that no matter how many times he told her to relax, she wasn’t in any state to obey.
Instead, he kissed her. Hot and deep. A blissful sigh resonated in her throat.
There were easier ways. He could have touched her neural pathways to heighten her arousal. He could have converted pain signals into pleasure. He could have relaxed her inner muscles. He didn’t even need to go that far. Just dulling her pain receptors would have been enough.
But he didn’t. Their tongues tangled and burned with heat, no magic interfering. Like two people who knew nothing of magic at all, they clung to each other and rolled across the floor.
“Ah, ah!”
The moment Lukenian buried himself to the root, Larissa cried out. Their bodies were joined in only one place, and yet it felt like every particle of her being had merged with his. As if they’d become a single body. A blissful illusion.
And the illusion wasn’t hers alone. Lukenian’s hand interlaced with hers, squeezing so hard the veins stood out.
“Ah, ah, ah!”
“Haah, Larissa. Slowly.”
Every time he drove deep into her belly, Larissa cried out. Lukenian groaned, his voice hoarse, and gripped her bucking hips as they rolled across the floor.
Her climax exploded from deep inside her. Eyes squeezed shut, Larissa endured that moment once again. Like the annihilation of golden particles.
She was exhausted. Dead tired.
She must have fallen asleep. But it hadn’t been long. The moment she woke, heat rushed through her whole body and a headache set in. The pain kept her from drifting back off. Larissa opened her eyes, still hazy.
The first thing she registered was the comfortable temperature. A cozy warmth filled the blanket, different from the lucky days when a cat chose you as its personal heater. Then a scent. Slightly unfamiliar, but pleasant. It clung to her skin. Against her bare body, the sheets felt crisp and clean, like a high-end hotel.
A firm, warm hand gently stroked her exposed arm. She realized she was lying with her head resting on Lukenian’s chest.
“Crazy.”
She said it out loud without thinking. Then flinched and looked up. And found Lukenian looking down at her with those blue eyes.
“Ngh.”
Too late. No time to run. Not that running would’ve meant anything anyway. Now that her head was clear, Larissa’s thoughts spun in circles.
So… why?
She could understand her side of it. She’d been drunk on dense mana and a level of perception she’d never experienced before. Her senses were completely scrambled. It wouldn’t be strange if she’d done something reckless. Even without all that, she’d always liked Lukenian. Honestly, if she’d ever had the courage to pretend she’d lost her mind and throw herself at him, she might’ve tried it long ago.
