Chapter 41
Inside, Fay was screaming. She’d just blurted out a question so direct that it made her cringe, and now she worried she sounded hopelessly self-absorbed.
‘Was there anything to see besides you?’
For a split second, it felt like he was saying he’d fallen for her at first sight. But thinking it over, maybe he hadn’t meant it quite like that. After all, she had been the only person in that abandoned temple.
She wondered if she’d just interpreted his actions the way she wanted, making herself the center of his attention. Regret washed over her for asking so directly. But, she reasoned, at least her feelings hadn’t been exposed yet. Depending on his answer, she could always play it off.
“If I didn’t like you, I’d have left a long time ago.”
“R-right… haha…”
Her chest tightened so much it almost hurt, and she found herself letting out an awkward little laugh. It was overwhelming, but at the same time, she felt like she could float away.
She thought about all the times she’d tried and failed to summon an invoked, how it always felt like she was being ignored. She’d hated herself for it. She resented being the witch who couldn’t do what everyone else could. Her confidence had plummeted, day by day.
But if all that struggle had been leading her to meet Alnazir, maybe it hadn’t been so bad after all. Fay leaned back and rested her head against his chest, whispering softly.
“Thank you. For answering my call.”
As she spoke from the heart, Alnazir reached out and turned her chin so she was facing him. He narrowed his eyes and fixed her with a stern look.
“Say that while looking at my face.”
“Th-thank you.”
“I said look at me.”
He made her repeat herself, firmer this time. Fay nervously tucked her lip in, then finally found the courage to meet his gaze.
“Thank you.”
“And use my name this time.”
“Thank you, Alnazir.”
Only then did his sharp expression soften, and he gave her a faint, almost shy smile before kissing her. The taste of her lips was different, just slightly, from when they kissed on land.
What would it feel like to hold her here, in the water? Would it be different? Alnazir was suddenly curious.
As Fay’s pants and underwear slid down to her knees, Alnazir reached between her legs and started to explore.
“Are you really going to do it here?”
Her voice trembled with embarrassment. She froze at first, unsure what to do, then finally relaxed and leaned into him.
“You’re not going to hurt me, right?”
A bathtub wasn’t as forgiving as a bed, she could already imagine the bruises if he moved the way he usually did. Not that the bed left her unscathed, either. She remembered all too well the red and purple marks covering her body afterward.
But bruises were different, she told herself. She watched him anxiously, worried.
“Maybe I should mess with your senses a little more.”
“Eek!”
A wave of pleasure surged through her, making Fay throw her head back in surprise. He hadn’t pressed hard or twisted her c**t; he just caressed her softly, and yet the sensation was so strong that it left her mind blank.
“Does it still hurt?”
“Ah, nn…”
“Fay, answer me. How do you feel now?”
“P-please, you’re going to make me—ah, if you keep touching me like that inside, I’ll—Al—if you keep going like that, I-I’ll lose it…!”
His fingers slid inside, spreading and caressing her inner walls. By now, the feeling had become almost familiar, and Fay found herself unable to hold back her moans.
Even though she was already underwater, she could feel herself growing wetter, the sticky slickness clinging to his fingers as he moved.
Alnazir slipped his arm under her knees and lifted them, making her panties and pants brush her nose.
“If it hurts, just say so, Fay. I’ll make it even better for you.”
“No, wait! If it gets any better, I’ll lose my mind…!”
Fay bit her lip and dropped her head. His strong thighs were there, steady beneath her, making sure she wouldn’t slip.
Staring at the muscles in his legs, she found herself swallowing, feeling almost dizzy. She’d seen him naked before, but somehow it felt even naughtier this time.
“Alnazir… it already feels so good. I’m not in pain at all. Not at all, really.”
“That’s good.”
He pressed gently against her inner wall, not even hard, but it made her body shudder uncontrollably. It was clear she was enjoying every second.
“Don’t just say it’s good—ah, it’s too much, too much, it’s—ah, my chest, it feels like it’s going to burst…!”
Alnazir knew by now that she wasn’t in pain from his touch. Still, he pretended to be oblivious and pushed her sensitivity even higher.
“Cry for me some more. I like the sound.”
