“Fay…”

He called her name between uneven breaths, and she pulled her mouth away from the tentacle.

“Try extending it a bit more.”

“Why?”

His mind clearly wanted to know the reason. But his impatient body reacted before the explanation could come, pushing the tentacle out further, until it reached the limit his human form could manage.

Fay tilted her head slightly. “That’s a bit long…” She grabbed the tip and measured it against her own height.

“Does the whole thing have sensory organs from end to end?”

“Yes. Though the sensitivity varies… a little.”

Her fingers continued to toy with it, making Alnazir’s voice come out strangely off-key. Even so, he tried his best to answer calmly. If he hadn’t concentrated so hard, a groan might have slipped out.

It was good that he had weakened his body enough to allow her to touch him. But being this easily stimulated seemed like something he might need to improve later, he thought.

He completely overlooked the fact that he had never reacted this strongly when he was the one touching her.

“Which part is the most sensitive?”

“Probably the very tip.”

“Really?”

Fay’s eyes lit up as she held the end of the tentacle with both hands. When she gently rubbed it with her thumb, Alnazir’s body jerked noticeably.

“Are you okay?”

“…Yes…”

“If it feels unpleasant, tell me. I’ll stop right away.”

“…No… it’s fine. Keep going.”

It didn’t really look fine. Fay eyed him suspiciously, then slowly leaned forward and pressed her lips against the tentacle.

“Ugh.”

The sound slipped from between his teeth immediately. Embarrassed, he avoided her gaze and looked away.

Fay deliberately kept staring at his face. His throat moved noticeably as he swallowed, and as she ran her tongue along the tip, the veins along his neck stood out. His neck and ears gradually turned red.

Watching the changing colors with interest, she continued until the thin layer of slickness was gone. Soon she could feel the bare surface beneath.

It gave her the odd sensation of playing with his other organ in her mouth—his manhood, that is. It was thinner and lacked the pronounced shape at the tip, but somehow the feeling reminded her of it.

“Ha… Fay.”

Alnazir no longer bothered hiding his uneven breathing. Calling her name with hazy eyes, he reached over her cloak and grabbed her hips, pulling them apart.

“No. I said only I’m allowed to touch today.”

“But earlier you said you wouldn’t keep that promise.”

“Try trusting me one more time, even after that.”

“You want me to trust someone who already took it back before a single day passed?”

“Yes. Ridiculous as it sounds, you have to. Only then will I find the courage to trust you again.”

You’re a great ruler, after all. Set a proper example for a pitiful, fragile human. Fay giggled softly as she rubbed the tentacle against her right cheek.

Using words meant for reverence as a form of teasing… Alnazir found it absurd. Still, he had the growing sense that he would never win against this witch.

“And isn’t it better to go one day without touching me than to spend the rest of your life not speaking to me at all?”

Human birthdays truly were a cruel custom. Grinding his teeth, Alnazir reluctantly nodded.

He accepted it because he had no choice, not because he liked it. The dull look in his eyes revealed exactly how he felt.

Fay noticed everything, yet pretended not to. Maintaining her cool expression, she turned his face from side to side. It moved obediently even without much force, which felt oddly fascinating.

“Lord Al.”

When she called him, the light returned instantly to his previously lifeless eyes. His lips pushed forward slightly. It was not an obvious pout, but a subtle movement.

He wanted a kiss, but his pride wouldn’t allow him to look too desperate.

Fay began to enjoy teasing him. She deliberately passed by his lips and slid her hand behind his head instead.

Tracing the shape of his neck bones with her fingers, she slowly moved from the bottom upward. His temperature there seemed warmer than his cheeks or arms.

Warmer than the tentacle?

Suddenly curious, she kept her right hand at the back of his neck while reaching for the tentacle with her other hand.

After checking, the tentacle turned out to be slightly warmer.

Her curiosity satisfied, Fay continued stroking it. Now that she knew it no longer threatened her, this delicate weapon was entirely under her control.

“It’s less slippery toward the end.”

Fay said this while running her fingers along the length of the tentacle.

Alnazir inhaled through his nose. A reply hovered on the edge of his lips.
