Chapter 156
He didn’t want to waste a single second of this night.
“Haa…”
When she let out that long, drawn-out moan, the creature’s ears perked up sharply, responding to the sound of a satisfied female.
He was dying to return to his true form.
The only reason he held back was because he had to think about the aftermath. At dawn, the two of them would have to leave for the Imperial Palace. If he left her half-dead come morning, all the groundwork he’d built would crumble to nothing. He couldn’t risk that.
‘No… wait. That’s not it. She just needs to hold out, doesn’t she?’
His reason had drowned in his own surging lust. Come to think of it, even if he did take his true form, it wouldn’t be a problem as long as Sylvia could endure. Female monsters did this all the time—staying conscious through days of relentless rutting.
He pressed his hips against her sticky, slick flesh, mulling it over. Then he sighed and bit down hard on his tongue.
The sharp pain brought a sliver of reason back. Blood pooled in his mouth as he spread her legs wide.
“Ah—Kuinan.”
Her unfocused eyes found him. He responded immediately. Every time she shaped his true name with those pretty lips, chills raced across his skin. Three centuries of being called that name, and it had never sounded so foreign.
Strange. And damn good. He devoured her mouth and nose in one wide bite, sealing off both airways at once. Trapped, she began desperately sucking on his tongue to survive. The taste of blood seemed to confuse her—even through the haze, her brow furrowed slightly.
“Hmh…?”
After letting her drink her fill of saliva and blood, he finally released her lips. She spat out his tongue and met his gaze.
Below, the obscene sounds of their bodies kept up their wet rhythm—but above, they simply looked at each other.
“…”
“…”
How could silence feel so peaceful? Neither was drunk, yet they fell quiet at the same time, then opened their mouths at the same moment.
Instead of elegant words, their tongues emerged red and hungry. They tangled again, their joining deepening. When he struck her womb, she whimpered brokenly into his mouth, wordlessly begging for mercy.
“Nngh—mngh.”
He pulled back and slammed in again. She slapped his shoulder. Harder than expected, though it was still as insignificant as being swatted by a fly. Still, Kuinan felt a surge of satisfaction. She finally has enough strength to hurt him with her bare hands.
‘My adorable, impressive little female.’
She was genuinely trying to beat him, but Kuinan didn’t care. Expressing himself mattered more. He sucked at her skin relentlessly, leaving bruises blooming across her delicate flesh. Minutes passed, mouth working, hips driving, without pause.
“Nngh…! Ngh—ah!”
Sylvia had been fighting him off, slapping and shoving, but after all that time, she seemed to adjust. Her small, ragged breaths tickled his ears. Her arms, which had been hitting him without rest, now lay limp and heavy at her sides.
She started rocking her hips awkwardly, chasing something. Clearly there was a spot she wanted him to hit, but he kept missing it.
Unconsciously, Kuinan murmured in the tongue of monsters:
“[Where? Where do you want it?]”
She shouldn’t have understood him—and yet, her hand drifted naturally to her belly. Her fingertip pressed a spot just below her navel, slightly to the left. She pointed between short, gasping breaths.
Kuinan curved his hips slowly, deliberately. Every time he brushed the right spot, she jolted. Sharp, high cries escaped her as she bucked hard. After a frustrating while of searching, he pulled out entirely.
“Ah!”
Her protest was sharp, almost accusatory. She glared at him like she might kill him. Kuinan laughed—partly in disbelief, partly because she was so damn adorable. He gripped his own length, molding it with his hands, shaping it into something thicker, something monstrous.
Sylvia watched with flushed cheeks, her breath quickening.
“Looking forward to it?”
Kuinan asked, teasing. He already knew she wouldn’t answer.
