Chapter 27
Jeina swallowed hard, a thrilling excitement making her heart race. She straightened her back where she knelt. Her dark eyes passed over his widely set shoulders and his bobbing Adam’s apple, and she sat up even taller to meet his eye level.
That gaze alone was already causing a massive stir within her grasp.
And only now did Jeina properly face the man’s features.
“…Raspberry!”
she exclaimed in surprise.
“Guh! Ah, careful!”
In her delight, she’d unconsciously squeezed her hand tightly, making him jolt.
‘That cute temper of his is still the same.’
Even though his body had grown so much, she thought, staring at him while entertaining a lewd imagination. She’d been so focused on his impressively substantial member that she’d missed it.
As far as she knew, there was only one person with eyes like that. Perhaps because his features were so striking, Jeina remembered clearly.
Those two dark, raspberry-red eyes…
She dragged her tongue slowly up his reddened, irritated eyelids.
“Eeuh, haa… What the… Ah…!”
As the grip on the man’s member naturally loosened, he shuddered faintly.
“Ah, ah… Haa…”
Simultaneously, a warm sensation spread through her hand and up to her chest.
Her gaze drifted down to the source, then snapped back to meet his eyes.
His crimson pupils were shaking uncontrollably. His lips were pressed tightly together, sealed by shame.
“Crybaby…”
“Back then you cried with your eyes, and now you’re crying from down there?”
A look of deep satisfaction settled over her face.
“…Don’t push it? It was a mistake. Who are you calling a crybaby? That’s… that’s ridiculous…”
He tried to act nonchalant, but his ears were so red it was almost pitiful.
A moment later.
“What??”
The man’s incredulous voice echoed through the underground.
Ronius, who had been hurriedly pulling on fresh clothes while the woman’s hand was away, froze completely, his face utterly blank. He stared at her, brow furrowed, as if he couldn’t believe what he’d heard even after replaying it in his mind.
Jeina, who had done nothing but shock him since their reunion, remained perfectly composed. She looked at him with a “What, is there a problem with what I said?” expression, making him let out a hollow laugh.
“Ha. What…?”
Despite his reaction, Jeina just sat on the edge of the bed, staring at him blankly.
Her face was now clean of the mess he’d made. When he’d said they needed to leave, and asked if she could do something about the state of her face and body before they went out, she had instantly transformed into her current pristine state.
And after watching him get dressed for a while, the first thing she says is… this?
“What did you say? My body… what? You want me to do what with it? I must have misheard.”
He was so flabbergasted he could barely form words.
For a while, he just stood there opening and closing his mouth soundlessly, until she finally broke the silence.
“Why are you reacting like that? Don’t tell me you’re getting shy after finishing all over me?”
“Shy…?! No, that’s not the point right now… Do you even understand what those words mean?”
He narrowed his eyes, studying her as if trying to guess her intentions. That brazen face, with only her eyes wide and innocent… It was infuriating how breathtakingly beautiful she was, making him feel unfairly wronged.
“What, was my wording unclear? Should I say it again?”
Then, Jeina repeated herself, emphasizing each word with deliberate force.
“I asked if I can play with your body once we get out of here.”
Play with his body… It was such a vulgar statement, it nearly overshadowed the joy of her remembering him.
Her hair was a stunning, glossy black, her eyes deep and captivating with their pale pupils, her features exquisitely refined—it was undoubtedly Jeina…
But it felt like something was subtly out of focus.
‘Don’t tell me… that Pope bastard…?’
A plausible suspicion flashed through his mind, and his eyes gleamed with rage.
“Did that Pope… do something strange to you…?”
“Pope? Why? Is he still alive? That’s strange… He should be dead after having that much mana drained. Well, it was the expected outcome, though.”
She seemed completely unfazed even by the mention of the Pope, but he gritted his teeth.
“He’s dead. He’s dead, but… Did he ever… sexually… approach you… or… touch you against your will…?”
His voice faded, laced with unease.
Despite his usually sharp, unwavering personality that left no room for weakness, standing before her always reduced him to this small, guilt-ridden man.
