Chapter 26
Perhaps sensing her hesitation, Lianna’s eyes curved strangely. Soon she leaned in and whispered in a suggestive tone.
“My parents happen to be out, so it’s just the two of us in the manor.”
Even at the girl’s meaningful cue, Lucy asked back cluelessly.
“But what about the other guests?”
At that, Lianna, who controlled every detail of the setting at her whim, shrugged and said.
“They’ve all gone home. It’s already getting late in the evening.”
Lucy found it a bit odd, knowing that guests invited to a manor would usually continue dining late into the evening and play cards until dawn.
But she simply accepted it. Lianna seemed to have something else she wanted to do now.
“Haven’t you ever played dolls? You’re so stiff. What, were you in the army or something?”
At Lianna’s scolding, the girls around them, who had been playing with their own toys, turned and burst into giggles.
Lucy scratched her head awkwardly, and in the meantime, the setting shifted with a single word from Lianna.
“Now, we’ve arrived at the lady’s room.”
At that, the surrounding girls giggled knowingly and crept over to sit nearby.
One girl even propped her chin in both hands and lay sprawled on the rug, as if ready to thoroughly enjoy the entertaining show about to unfold.
Watching them, Lucy blinked, utterly clueless.
Marveling at why such sly, titillated glints flickered through the young girls’ eyes.
A sudden ominous thought struck her—whatever was about to happen was no ordinary matter.
And then Lianna, the corner of her lips torn in a lecherous grin, finally revealed her true colors.
“By the way, Sir Theo, aren’t you feeling rather warm?”
The female doll clung dangerously to Lucy’s male doll, and she instinctively pulled Theo backward.
But the next moment, she flinched in horror as the female doll slipped her dress off one shoulder, lewdly exposing her b*****s.
Lucy actually stammered, trying to dissuade her.
“L-La-Lady Lianna, what on earth are you doing? This is not proper.”
Whether Lucy’s reaction made Theo appear naive, the girls burst into raucous laughter.
With a smirk, Lianna carried on her brazen performance.
“No, the fireplace is simply too strong—I was a bit warm. I feel alive now. Your face is red too, my lord, how about undressing a little yourself?”
“Kyahaha!”
Contrary to Lucy’s will, the mood had already ripened.
Reading the desire in the eyes of the young girls gathered around—desire similar to that of the woman who had sat on Laegar’s lap days ago—Lucy was utterly flustered.
How could such young ladies be so lecherous!
While she floundered, Lianna and the other girls reached out and stripped Theo entirely of his tailcoat.
“Aaht!”
Feeling a strange sense of shame, Lucy was at a loss, but Lianna’s brazen mischief continued.
The female doll pushed Theo down onto the bed and climbed on top of him.
Overwhelmed by Lianna’s sharp gaze, Lucy had no choice but to keep voicing Theo.
“Ah, Lianna! Why—why on earth are you doing this?”
Whether her genuine bewilderment heightened the realism, the girls were now clutching their stomachs laughing.
Clearly, this wasn’t their first or second time playing such secret games.
In the end, Lucy inadvertently curled her fist and rapped Lianna on the head.
“Y-You—where did you learn such things?”
Lianna scoffed as if dumbfounded and shot back.
“Is there any kid who doesn’t know this stuff? I can get married in three years, I’ve learned it all!”
Lucy recalled that in the Belluk territory, one could marry from the age of fifteen.
Then why didn’t she know these things?
It was strange that everything Laegar taught her day by day felt new, while not a single thing she supposedly already knew was there.
Was this the difference between an orphan’s background and a noble young lady’s? The difference between learning by bodily experience and studying in advance?
While she was puzzling it over, Lianna launched a surprise question.
“Come to think of it, Lucy, I hear you’re the Great Emperor’s ‘thing.’ You must’ve done it a lot, so why are you acting like this?”
Lianna wagged her raised pinky finger mockingly. Feeling the girls’ curious gazes converge on her, Lucy’s face flushed bright red.
She changed the subject.
“A-Anyway, this stuff isn’t for you yet. You mustn’t play these games even in secret. And absolutely never in real life!”
The woman who’d seemed a pushover all along, playing along with everything, now crossed her fingers into an X and scolded them with a semblance of adult authority—so the girls grew slightly cowed.
Only then did Lianna lose her bravado and grumble.
“I haven’t actually done it for real. I’ve just often peeped at my eldest sister doing it whenever our parents were out, tch.”
At that, Lucy, who’d been gaping speechlessly, shrieked.
