Chapter 28
It reached a point where she could suck no longer. Saliva leaking from the corners of her mouth slithered slickly down the shaft—but she didn’t care in the slightest. The sight of Laegar panting desperately had her more than satisfied.
At last, alongside a suppressed groan, an immense volume of cloudy fluid erupted from the bulging pillar as if exploding.
Holding the base of the shaft, Lucy felt the fierce propulsion strike the inside of her mouth and throat and sputtered. The musky s***n poured endlessly down her throat, splattering wildly over her lips and nose.
The hot pillar pulsed savagely, truly like a wild beast alive. The throbbing nearly transmitted through to Lucy’s palm.
“Hffk.”
She stared blankly at Laegar, who shuddered and trembled, leaking a lascivious moan.
She had tried this first out of curiosity, and second because she’d heard men grew obedient if you did it for them. But the sight of him quivering was devastatingly innocent and s****l at once.
Above all, seeing him look somehow helpless was more entrancing than she’d imagined.
The rims of his eyes red as if about to cry, the contorted bridge of his nose, his lips slightly parted—and the moan seething desperately within…
The emperor who had conquered the continent was crumbling and writhing at the tip of her tongue.
‘At times like this, he’s really rather pretty.’
Thinking she was glad she’d tried it, Lucy pressed her lips here and there against his neck and firm chest.
Then, moving back down, she began lapping again at the murky s***n still convulsively surging out—and felt him quiver faintly.

A few days later, Laegar and Lucy sat together at the table in the greenhouse garden, blanketed with jasmine, zinnia, and hydrangea.
Having gone through several incidents lately, he had reached a single conclusion.
That letting her mingle with others besides himself had a poor influence on Lucy.
And that this influence, absorbed into her blank-slate state, manifested immediately.
Uncharacteristically gripped by a thread of anxiety, Laegar decided that rather than let Lucy be stained by bad influences, he would make time himself to play with her outdoors.
Otherwise, who knew who she might meet next and where she might bounce off to.
He didn’t know why he was taking her emotional state into such meticulous consideration, but in any case, he wanted Lucy never to realize the feeling that she was confined.
So today, during their private tea time, Lucy took on the role of the young lady, and Laegar, caught off guard, was assigned the role of the guest.
He had no idea why he had to take on roles at all, but she wanted it. Perhaps her suppressed and hidden wishes were surfacing disjointedly through this second self.
Utterly incapable of eloquence, he merely nodded silently at Lucy’s chattering words.
“Here, Sir Theo. Try the black tea, a local specialty. The aroma is truly profound.”
Lucy prattled on with phrases she seemed to have picked up somewhere, continuing the play. Only belatedly realizing he’d been given the role of a young lord her age, Laegar’s lips simply twitched.
Before he could even set down his cup after a sip of tea, she pressed him.
“How is it, the taste?”
“Good.”
“Oh, come now. You must compliment it with some fitting flourish of words.”
As if forgetting that an emperor had no need for such things, Lucy pointed out flaws in his etiquette in several places.
In truth, she was unconsciously voicing the very things her etiquette tutor had once corrected in her past, but she didn’t know that.
She merely kept pressing Laegar, who sat there mute as though he’d swallowed honey.
“Then now you must lavish praise upon my dress.”
Even though they were alone, Lucy whispered into his ear as if coaching him.
At that, Laegar, having set down his teacup, froze for a moment, then his lips twitched as if about to say something.
Unable to withstand the urging, he began to scan Lucy’s dress with his glass-like gray eyes.
She shuddered momentarily at the gaze that seemed to see right through to the inside of her dress, but kept silent, waiting for his compliment.
Laegar, with the expression of a great scholar faced with an impossibly difficult problem, deliberated for a moment, then slowly uttered.
“…The dress is pretty.”
“…….”
Lucy, a pfft of laughter escaping, shot him a sidelong glance and coached him again.
“Oh, you can’t just do it so half-heartedly. Is it really that hard to compliment someone using a few fitting flourishes?”
Laegar felt a phantom bead of sweat trickle down his forehead.
He had sat himself here to keep Lucy company during the day as well, not just rolling around at night—but he hadn’t known such difficult duties would be thrust upon him.
He rolled his cool eyes and looked at Lucy seated across from him.
