Chapter 1
When Lilia Silyd realized that the place her mother had brought her was Duke Ashed’s household, she finally felt she could breathe again.
After losing her father early, her mother returned to her family as a widow, but their treatment there had been less than kind.
Naturally, things were even worse for Lilia herself.
So when her mother announced she was marrying the head of the most powerful noble house in the empire, Duke Ashed, Lilia couldn’t help but feel a flicker of hope.
However, that hope faded fast. The Ashed household was, in truth, not so different from the Silyd family, where Lilia had spent her life being treated like dirt.
The only real improvement was that here, there were no cousins who hit her.
And still, she remained Lilia Silyd, not Lilia Ashed.
Officially, she had been adopted by the Ashed family, but the Duke was always reminding her to know her place. Even on the family register, she was still an outsider.
So Lilia learned to withstand the subtle slights from the servants, as well as the open disdain from the family members.
“D-don’t… please, stop—no…”
“Quiet.”
A large hand covered her mouth, cutting off her cries and resistance. Meanwhile, the fingers tormenting her below only increased in number.
The relentless pressure and scraping inside her made her shudder with revulsion.
When she’d first arrived at the Duke’s mansion, Lilia was introduced to the Duke and his son, Cassis. Her mother had told her to treat her new little brother well—but honestly…
Cassis Ashed.
The only legitimate heir to the family, and he made no secret of his dislike for Lilia. It was understandable; after all, why would he be happy about some outsider occupying a spot in the Duke’s household?
So Lilia tried not to let Cassis’s disregard bother her too much.
As a result, their relationship was nothing more than exchanging greetings when they passed each other in the halls. They knew each other’s names, and that was it.
“Damn it.”
Jet-black hair, crimson eyes—those eyes glinted coldly.
From the lips of this refined, elegant young man, crude profanity spilled out.
Cassis Ashed was the only direct heir to the dukedom, blessed with good looks that matched his famous lineage. She still remembered how striking he’d looked when she first met him four years ago.
Back then, he’d been a small, cute boy.
Now, in just four years, he’d grown into a man nearly 190 centimeters tall—broad-shouldered, his muscles cut and defined like a sculpture.
Yet he still treated Lilia with disdain, and she, smaller and slighter, tried her best to stay out of his way.
But now, that same strong body was on top of her.
Lilia trembled and whimpered, her teary eyes seeing Cassis’s handsome face twisted with madness and pleasure.
Cassis leaned in and whispered,
“Sister.”
“Please, Cassis, don’t. Don’t…”
Lilia pleaded, her voice choked with sobs. Her mind was spinning. She could barely comprehend what was happening.
“…Sister, do you have any idea how vulgar you look right now?”
She remembered how, when she’d first arrived, he’d been just about her height. The faint scent of alcohol drifting from him made Lilia feel dizzy.
She wanted to slap him across the face, but her wrists were tied to the headboard with a necktie, leaving her helpless.
“Cassis, ah…! No, st-stop—!”
His fingers slowly rubbing Lilia’s c**t made her tremble even harder.
“…I think I’ve wanted this from the very beginning, Sister. From the moment you first set foot in this house with that innocent face, I went into heat for you like an animal.”
“No, no…”
“Oh yes. Do you know what I do, every night, because of you?”
My lovely sister. You don’t know, do you? Every night, I imagine tying you up and taking you mercilessly—f*****g you until you’re sobbing and begging me to stop, but I never stop.
Tears streamed down Lilia’s face as she stared at him in terror, but Cassis just pushed another finger inside her.
She struggled, flinched beneath him, but her resistance was meaningless.
Cassis grinned, saying this was even better than he’d imagined.
His lips curved upward, his eyes narrowing handsomely. He looked like a living sculpture. But for Lilia, wrists bound and thighs slick with shame, it was nothing but despair.
His fingers slid out, and she felt the thick head of his c**k press against her trembling legs. Just that touch was enough to make her choke on her own breath.
“Please, Cassis.”
Her voice shook pathetically as she begged.
If she could, she would have grabbed him and fallen to her knees, but her tightly bound wrists made that impossible.
At the joint funeral for her mother and the Duke—both killed in a carriage accident—the only thing she could think was: How am I supposed to live now?
She was never truly a part of the Ashed family, so she had no idea what would happen to her.
But this was something she’d never seen coming.
